In 1905, foreign media reported that Liam Neeson, who starred in many tough guy movies, would play the private detective Philippe Marlowe in the new film "Marlowe". Marlowe is a character portrayed by the famous American detective novelist Raymond Chandler, who has been featured on the big screen several times before, including Robert Montgomery's 1944 "Corpse on the Lake" and Humphrey Bogart's 1946 performance in "The Long Night".

However, this version of Detective Marlowe is not from Raymond Chandler's novel, but from the 2014 novel Black-Eyed Blonde, written by Benjamin Black.

Written by William Monaghan, who wrote Infernal Affairs, the film is mainly about Marlowe who did not want to continue working as a private investigator after World War II, but a mysterious blonde approached him and asked him for help in finding her ex-boyfriend, and Maro was involved in a property struggle for a prominent family.
