Hu Juan is the owner of a local flower shop and a member of the Ejin Naqi Youth Volunteer Team. After the outbreak of this round of epidemics, Hu Juan took the initiative to sign up for the volunteer team organized by the Youth League Committee of Ejin Naqi and became the leader of the team, leading the team members to deliver meals to the personnel at the isolation point.

Before each departure, Hu Juan had to disinfect supplies, vehicles, including team members. She said that volunteers have to conduct nucleic acid tests every day, and she not only has to ensure that the supplies are delivered smoothly to the isolation point, but also to ensure the health and safety of the whole team.

Volunteer Hu Juan: It is false to say that we are not afraid, and every time we go to that side (the isolation point), we are more or less afraid. [We] were all shouting, basically dumb. They were inside the door, and we were shouting outside the door, and your meal had arrived. As soon as the throat is uncomfortable, everyone (worried) we are not allowed to have the new crown, are we infected.

In addition to the need to deliver three meals a day, Hu Juan and her team members have many temporary tasks, they need to be on standby at any time, and they will go wherever they are needed. After a busy day, it was not until more than 9 o'clock in the evening that Hu Juan and the team members prepared to eat dinner. Wearing protective clothing, they were inconvenient to enter the room, so they sat down to eat on the steps outside the hotel.
