Turnover of Tongda Group (00698.HK) in the first three quarters of HK$7.34 billion increased by 10.1% year-on-year

On October 28, 2021, Tongda Group (00698.HK) announced that for the nine months ended 30 September 2021, its turnover for the period was HK$7.34 billion, up 10.1% year-on-year.

In previous years, the Group has actively laid out home and sporting goods and explored different emerging products, new materials and new fields, with the aim of bringing new growth momentum to the Group. Despite the repeated outbreak of the epidemic, consumer demand for household and sporting goods continued to be strong, coupled with the Group's mass production of metal components for new energy vehicle batteries for new customers during the period, the Group's total sales for the period increased by 10.1% compared with the same period last year. The Global Smartphone Market was affected by a shortage of chips, with total shipments recording a year-on-year decline in the third quarter, affecting the Group's mobile phone business.
