"Finally on the way home, the travellers and the staff on the bus were delighted! At present, our train has left Hohhot and continues to Zhengzhou, and is expected to arrive at the station at noon tomorrow. Wang Yanmin, the captain of the Beijing Second Team of the Zhengzhou Passenger Transport Section, told elephant news reporters.
On October 18, the special tourist train led by Wang Yanmin was notified of the suspension of operation shortly after it arrived at the Ejina Station in Inner Mongolia. Due to the impact of the local epidemic, passengers left large luggage on the train, everyone left the station with their belongings, quarantined under the arrangement of the local government, and the conductor was closed on the train.
"During the ten days of my stay in Ejin, although our car was quarantined, every day I would ask the tour guide about the passengers." Wang Yanmin said that his duty as a railroad man is to bring passengers back safely.
The tour guide told Elephant News that during the quarantine period of Ejin Naqi, everyone abided by the local epidemic prevention and control policy and actively cooperated with the arrangements of the epidemic prevention personnel, "After all, they stayed there for 10 days, and now everyone has embarked on the road home, and they are very happy." ”
Ejin Naqi also specially arranged two epidemic prevention and control staff to follow the train to transfer passengers, at present, passengers are orderly in accordance with the requirements of the epidemic personnel accompanying the car, in their respective carriages for closed management. "At the beginning, I really felt very blocked, no one expected to encounter the problem of epidemic prevention and control, and it is better to be able to go home safely than anything else." Mr. Wang, a passenger on the transfer, told reporters.
It is understood that the 586 stranded passengers were under the guidance of the Inner Mongolia Working Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, and at 21:54 on the evening of October 27, the first batch of passengers transferred out of the Ejin Banner, because they were taking the train from Zhengzhou Station, so according to the plan, this group of passengers will arrive in Zhengzhou at noon on the 29th.
After arriving in Zhengzhou, these passengers will be transferred and isolated in accordance with the prevention and control measures of the Zhengzhou Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Command.
