In 2019, the company is facing restructuring and needs Yu Huiping to invest more energy in his own work. Considering the conflict between work and public welfare, Yu Huiping does not want to delay the company's cause because of himself on the one hand, and on the other hand, he is reluctant to give up the public welfare he has done. In the end, he chose to quit his job to do public welfare full-time, and the burden of earning money to support the family fell on his wife alone.

When he first started doing this, Yu Huiping was troubled by the fact that he had very few teammates, only two or three people, and the personnel composition was extremely unstable. Because the group of wanderers has a certain particularity, most of the wanderers have a peculiar smell, the mind is not clear, and some of them also have a certain aggression. Therefore, at first, yu Huiping found it difficult to find like-minded people on his own strength.
Today, with the help of government departments and social institutions, the volunteer team that has worked with Yu Huiping to help this special group has more than 50 members. Among them, only Yu Huiping quit his job and threw himself into this love cause. Most of the supplies sent to the wanderers also come from the funds made up by the teammates.
At the beginning, Yu Huiping was still facing the incomprehension of his relatives, friends, and neighbors, believing that he was "full of food and nothing to do" before quitting his job to help these homeless people.
His wife was also very angry about his actions, but seeing more wanderers find their families with his help, the wife also began to change her attitude. When he is not busy, Yu Huiping's wife will also go to the scene to help. "She just talks about it, after all, life is very stressful, and it is normal to complain."

The one that impressed Yu Huiping the most was a wanderer who lived in a small pavilion that did not shelter from the rain. Yu Huiping, who received the rescue news, had just rushed to the place where the wanderers were resting, and looked around and found the wanderer sitting on a stone bench, and through a conversation with him, Yu Huiping found that he was talking well and his education level should not be low.
After three or four days of hard work, Yu Huiping finally found the homeless man's family. A sentence said by the family when they came to pick up Yu Huiping was greatly shocked: "How did you become like this?" You're an international student, and you're wandering. ”
Later, Yu Huiping learned that this wanderer had studied in Germany, and was sent back to China due to illegal employment by the unit, and after returning to China, due to some accidents, his hands and feet were smashed and could not work normally. Too far from his initial expectations, he lost confidence in life and was reluctant to return home.
"The outside world actually has a deep misunderstanding of the wanderer, people will think that you are young, have hands and feet, why should you eat and be lazy? This is true of some people, but it is also true that a significant percentage of people cannot find a job because they have dropped their documents or mobile phones. Yu Huiping firmly believes that many times we only need to do a little bit, they can live like normal people.

On March 14, 2021, Yu Huiping posted a video helping homeless people living under the bridge find their families. Only three hours after the video was released, the family of the wanderer left a message for Yu Huiping through the douyin private message function. Yu Huiping realized that the original release of a vibrato was done.
"Now, I have at least dozens of comments per TikTok. Some people provide clues, some people say touched, some people wish me a good life of peace, and some people move from online to offline to join the team of family search volunteers. I don't know how many fans I've influenced, but the attitudes of many people around me are changing. Seeing that the videos he released made more and more people pay attention to the lost wanderers, Yu Huiping felt a sense of accomplishment.
"Let Love Go Home" has more than 30,000 registered volunteers across the country, and everyone has signed up for Douyin. "At 50 percent of the pageviews, more than 10,000 people can see a message."
