According to the staff, the platform was invested and built by Shandong Ocean Group, and the project was divided into two phases. On July 10, 2020, the first phase of the project was officially put into operation, and the second phase of the project is currently undergoing preliminary construction.
"Cultivated Sea No. 1" adopts a steel sit-down structure, and three breeding cages as three "petals" constitute the overall shape of its "sea flower". Here is a model for the upgrading and transformation of marine fisheries - the platform is equipped with intelligent systems such as automatic bait, 5G communication, and safety management, which greatly improves the efficiency of fishery aquaculture. Through the use of clean energy, sewage treatment, seawater desalination and other technologies, the platform practices the concept of green environmental protection, and promotes the protection of marine fishery resources and ecological environment. At the same time, it is also a good place for leisure, organically combining the functions of fishery aquaculture, smart fishery, leisure fishery, scientific and technological research and development, and science education to achieve the integrated development of one or three industries.
According to reports, the total breeding volume of the first phase of "Cultivating the Sea No. 1" is 30,000 cubic meters, which can breed 200,000 high-quality marine fish per year, with an annual output of about 150,000 kilograms, and can receive more than 50,000 tourists per year.
Not far from the platform, an operation ship is working on the sea, which is the second phase of the "Cultivating sea one". The second phase of the project is composed of two parts: the offshore complex platform and the recreational sea fishing corridor, to create a modern marine complex integrating aquaculture, sightseeing, fishing, accommodation, catering, science popularization and scientific research, and to explore a new model of diversified integration and development of marine ranches. Connected by the Leisure Sea Fishing Corridor, the two phases of the project will be presented as a beautiful "Ocean Star" necklace after the completion of the project, becoming a beautiful "city business card" in Yantai.
