In August this year, the suspect Tang Mou was finally found. After investigation, in 2005, he was also sentenced to prison for an attempted taxi robbery in Guangzhou. After targeting, on October 15, Liuzhou police, with the cooperation of police in Kunming, Yunnan Province, arrested Tang in a small restaurant in Qinglong Village, Panlong District, Kunming City. At first, Tang Mou also wanted to pretend to be stupid and fool through the pass, and finally the police broke through his psychological defense line and confessed the crime of robbery and murder 19 years ago.
The suspect truthfully confessed that he planned to go to Liuzhou to take a car to Guangdong, but he did not have enough money on his body, so he planned to rob the taxi driver.
Tang mou confessed that after killing the taxi driver and taking the property, he quickly fled the scene in a taxi, but because he could not drive, the car was driven into the sugar cane field, and Tang got out of the car and burned the blood clothes and other items on his body.
