2. Introduction to the content
Adapted from Stendhal's long-form masterpiece "The Red and the Black", it constructs the love-hate relationship between the male protagonist Of the Bourbon Restoration period, Jullien, with a French rock style. Jullien (Côme) is the son of a carpenter in the small town of Verrière, and from an early age he hoped to join the upper class through personal struggles. Because of his proficiency in Latin, Jullien was elected to the mayor's house as a tutor. Jullien and the mayor's wife, Drena (Haylen), have a crush on each other.
