Abducted for 32 years to see each other again "reunion action" to help Jiangxi Tonggu family to find a family reunion

On October 27, at the scene of the "Reunion Action • Let Love Go Home" recognition ceremony of the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, 38-year-old Chen Mouxin hugged and cried with his parents, and after being abducted for 32 years, he was finally reunited with his biological parents.

Chen Mouxin's original name was Hu Mouhua. In December 1989, Hu Mouhua's father worked as a small worker at a construction site in The Town of Dayuan in Tonggu County, and 6-year-old Hu Mouhua played nearby. At noon, Hu Mouhua's father found that his son was missing, and his relatives inquired around the area, without any news. Over the years, Hu Mouhua's parents have not given up looking for their son, and have searched for relatives in Yingtan, Yichun and other places.

Hu Mouhua's disappearance has also become a heart disease of the criminal police brigade of the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau and the police of the Dayuan Town Police Station. He Ying, former director of the dayuan town police station, said that he learned about the case 10 years ago when he first took up his post in Dayuan, and went to Shaanxi Province to look for Hu Mouhua according to the clues collected at that time, but in the end he did not return.

For more than 30 years, Hu Mouhua's case has always touched the hearts of the police, and every time the criminal technology is updated, the police will collect the blood samples of Hu Mouhua's parents and enter them into the database again, and go to Yichun, Nanchang, Shanghai and other places many times to search. In 2017, the police of the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau went to Nanchang City to investigate a highly suspected object, but regretted it when the final review was made.

In January this year, the Ministry of Public Security organized public security organs across the country to carry out the "reunion operation" of abducted and missing children, the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau responded positively, and the criminal police brigade carefully sorted out the basic information, collected blood samples from Hu Mouhua's parents again for DNA data analysis, and entered them into the information platform for abduction and trafficking of missing children for comparison. In September, the platform matched Chen Mouxin, a highly suspected object who works in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province, and is born in Putian City, Fujian Province.

"On the one hand, our bureau immediately contacted Hu Mouhua's parents for further verification and confirmation. On the other hand, we requested the assistance of the Criminal Police Detachment of the Yichun Municipal Public Security Bureau to contact Chen Mouxin and successfully collected his oral swab. Huang Xi, captain of the technical squadron of the criminal police brigade of the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau, said.

On September 15, the Tonggu County Public Security Bureau officially compared the DNA data of both sides, and after review by the Yichun Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Jiangxi Provincial Public Security Department, and the Ministry of Public Security, it was finally determined on October 25 that Hu Mou's parents were Chen Mouxin's biological parents, and notified the personnel of both sides.

It is understood that Chen Mouxin was finally adopted by a couple in Qintou Village, Zhongmen Town, Putian City, Fujian Province. "My adoptive parents have always supported me in my search for relatives and have not concealed my identity as a adopted parent. In 2019, village cadres asked me to go to the local police station to collect blood samples and enter them into the database of the information platform for abducting and trafficking missing children.
