On November 9, 1989, the Berlin Wall fell; in October 1990, East and West Germany were reunified. This event changed Merkel's life, and she was actively involved in political activities, first participating in the "Rise of Democracy" organization in East Germany, and then entering the last government of the East German period, becoming the deputy spokesman of Chancellor de Mézier. In 1990, Merkel's "Rise of Democracy" merged with the CDU organization in East Germany, and Merkel became a member of the CDU. In 1992, Merkel assumed the post of Vice-President of the CDU. He held this important position at a young age, and he still seemed a little green.

Merkel was born in the northern German port city of Hamburg in July 1954 under the name Ofgra Dorothea Kasner. Her father was a Protestant priest and her mother, a former Teacher of English and Latin, and when she was one year old, the family moved to eastern Germany. Merkel's parents had high hopes for her from an early age, and her father instilled in her from an early age the idea that she must always be better than her peers. Later, this creed became Merkel's lifelong motto.

In 1966, Merkel participated in the organization of the Thalmann Vanguard. The Thalmann Vanguard was named after Ernst Thärmann, the former leader of the German Communist Party, as part of the Vanguard Movement of socialist Countries.

Merkel, an excellent student, excelled academically and showed a talent for science from an early age. In 1973, Merkel entered the University of Leipzig with honors to pursue a degree in physics, and received her doctorate in physics in 1986. After graduation, she worked at the Center for Physical Chemistry at the former East German Academy of Sciences.

Merkel, who was drinking beer in 2002. Three years later, in 2005, Merkel was elected Chancellor of Germany, becoming the first female Chancellor in German history.
