Echoing the "Festival of Graphic Novels", the French Cultural Centre in Beijing will screen a series of films adapted from comic or picture book novels in June.
The 2016 Graphic Novel Festival will be held in China by the French Embassy in China from June 10 to 17. This is a small festival about comics and graphic novels. French, Chinese and Belgian comic book writers will come together with a love of comics. The French Cultural Centre will screen French films based on or have been adapted into comics.
In addition to the delicate and powerful lines, the comic is also full of inspiration and deep thinking. Many European cartoonists have created works with fascinating storylines while painting itself with a high degree of artistry – enough to prove that comics deserve to be the ninth art. Sometimes it is the art of cinema that conveys the value of comics to a wide audience, and sometimes it is the films that are adapted into comics, and comics extend the life cycle of movies. The combination of movies, animations and comics is far from being just a favorite of children, but also the home of the souls of adults.
