On the morning of June 19, Jiangnan University held the 2021 graduation ceremony and degree conferment ceremony, and more than 6,000 graduates successfully completed their studies. The graduation ceremony was held simultaneously in a combination of online and offline methods, with more than 500 graduate representatives attending the ceremony on the spot, and the graduates who could not attend the ceremony participated in the "cloud ceremony" through live broadcast.

Liu Shenghe, winner of the President's Special Award and a 2018 master's student majoring in design at the School of Design, and Jiang Jiahui, winner of the President's Special Award and a 2017 undergraduate student majoring in law at the Faculty of Law, spoke on behalf of the graduates. They relived the long road, recalled the pulse of the campus, and deeply thanked their parents for their parenting, the teaching of teachers, the companionship of classmates and the cultivation of their alma mater. They said that they would live up to their original intentions, live up to their youth, live up to the expectations of their parents, teachers, and alma mater, live up to the instructions of the state, live up to the call of the times, and forge ahead courageously.

Principal Chen Wei delivered a speech entitled "Carrying Ideals and Rushing to the Sea of Stars." He sent a three-sentence affectionate message to the students, hoping that everyone would not wander in their ideals and be a person with feelings of home and country; he hoped that everyone would struggle not to lie flat and be a person with responsibility; and he hoped that everyone would not be narrow in the pattern and be a person with a broad mind. This year coincides with the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and he looks forward to more wonderful performances of Jiangnan people in the future, and wishes the students to carry out their ideals and go to their respective seas of stars.
