On the afternoon of October 26, 2021, the 2019 "Tomorrow Will Be Better" Sunshine Home Care Service Project Summary and Commendation Meeting was successfully held in the Tianshan Cultural Activity Multi-functional Hall of Tianshan Road Street.
The project aims to enhance the self-care ability of Sunshine House College and reduce the care pressure of its family members by organizing basic life training and professional rehabilitation training; to promote the employment of trainees, enhance their economic income and promote self-realization by organizing vocational training, supervision and recruitment; and to enhance their social communication skills and rebuild their social support networks by carrying out professional social work growth and interaction groups.
Leaders and guests attending the summary and commendation meeting included The Acting Red Man of the Tianshan Road Street Service Office, the teacher of Sunshine House, the parents of the students, the students, and Ms. Zhan Xin, the chairman of the Shanghai Good Times Community Public Welfare Service Center.
The project undertaker, Shanghai Good Times Community Public Welfare Service Center, made an on-site summary report on the project. The project lasted for one year, but was successfully completed with the joint efforts of street leaders, Sunshine House teachers, students, parents of students and Good Times, and is about to be completed.
In order to show the learning style of the students, a debriefing performance was held at the commendation meeting. The students sang self-confidence with their songs, sang the expectations for a better life in the future, and showed the spirit of unity and mutual matching between the teams in the chorus.
At the commendation meeting, 14 outstanding students of the project were announced, namely Zhang Junming, Liu Shunliang, Ren Zhenjun, Lou Wenjun, Zhu Jie, Li Nianci, Xu Yang, Zuo Jun, Jiang Feng, Zhang Zhen, Liu Yizun, Yao Mengjie, Yang Yan, and Yan Jie. The 14 trainees received the honorary certificate of outstanding students jointly issued by the Tianshan Road Street Office and Ms. Zhan Xin, chairman of the Shanghai Good Times Community Public Welfare Service Center.
At the same time, teachers, students and parents from the Sunshine House in Tianshan Road Street talked about their personal feelings about the project. Yang Yan, a student of Sunshine House, spoke as a representative, sharing her progress and experience in learning, and also expressed her gratitude to the leaders and teachers.
At this point, the commendation meeting was successfully concluded, and all the participants took photos on the spot, let us look forward to the new year's project to set sail again!
