<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" > Guxian mills: "mills" out of nostalgia! </h1>
Guxian Village in Xiangyun Town, Wen County, is 8 kilometers west of Wen County, and legend has it that Bu Zixia, one of Confucius's 72 disciples, was born in a temple east of this village. In his honor, people named the village Guxian Village, which refers to the place where the ancient sages lived.
Guxian Village is the core base of the National Agricultural Industrial Park, and the wheat produced is the best taste, and the "milled bread" made of wheat here has a good natural quality taste.

There is a man named Zhang Zhijun in the village, who is burning the fire, sitting on the pot table to stir-fry the tender wheat seeds, and it turns out that he is making "milled bread".
In the third volume of the "Zhixian Collection" engraved in the seventeenth year of Shunzhi, the "Customs And Records", there is a detailed record of the "milling" process. In the Qing Dynasty, Kong Shangren wrote in the "Record of the Same Wind of the Festival Sequence": "The new wheat is slightly fried and milled into a strip of milled bread", and it is entered into the "Four Inventory Books".
The people of Guxian Village have been processing "milled bread" for generations, which has been passed down from the beginning of the Qing Dynasty to the present.
There are more than a dozen procedures for making the "milling" process. Zhang Zhijun has been doing "milling" with his parents since he was a child, and the family is very busy before the wheat harvest. Now he runs his own "milling" workshop, busy all day long.
According to legend, "milled food" was once a Qing Dynasty imperial tribute food. The "milled bread" made of immature wheat maintains the nutrition of whole wheat, has the light fragrance of natural wheat milk, and cooks vegetables in time with cold mixing, stir-frying or meat.
This year, there are more than 20 people in Guxian Village who specialize in "milling".
It is reported that the village is preparing for the "MillIng" food and culture festival, when there will be merchants from many parts of the country to buy goods on the spot and sell directly online.
