Liu Lei and his party first came to several air pollution monitoring stations such as Xueyuan Road and North Central Street to gain an in-depth understanding of the problems existing in the current air pollution prevention and control work, and then inspected a number of areas where the Shenshui River flows, listened to reports on the water quality of the river, dredging and interception, surrounding garbage cleaning, sewage treatment and other related situations, and through holding on-site office meetings, analyzed the problems, compared with the division of responsibilities, and required the relevant departments and units to take the initiative to rectify and reform.

Liu Lei pointed out that affected by autumn and winter and some road construction, the situation of air pollution prevention and control in the county is very grim, and it must arouse a high degree of vigilance and attention. First, it is necessary to increase the frequency of sprinkling water, strengthen the cleaning of the road surface, and ensure that the pavement of key roads remains wet; second, we must further increase the intensity of work, strengthen the control measures for some large-scale motor vehicles, and increase the control of oil smoke pollution in residential areas and merchants along the street; third, we must consolidate the responsibilities of grass-roots river chiefs, carry out regular river patrols, and take the initiative to discover and solve problems in river inspections, especially to put an end to the phenomenon of river discharge and broken embankment planting.

Liu Lei stressed that pollution prevention and control is not a one-day achievement, the effort is focused on peacetime, all relevant departments at all levels should strengthen the forward-looking, overall, strategic, and integrated nature, keep a close eye on the problems, and earnestly achieve normalization and long-term effectiveness of work; it is necessary to "bundle departments and offices", strictly implement departmental supervision responsibilities, divide labor and cooperate, and make joint efforts; it is necessary to further enhance ideological understanding, consolidate responsibility, enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency for doing a good job in the prevention and control of air pollution, and implement various measures in a down-to-earth manner.
