Newland said that there is still significant uncertainty about whether the relevant businesses can achieve large-scale industrial recognition and generate deterministic revenue.
The announcement said that recently, the company has paid attention to some rumors about the company in the network forum and the stock bar, the main content of which is that the company has a close relationship with the development of the Hongmeng system, and the words "The silver donor of the Open Atomic Open Source Foundation, Sbito Technology, is a holding subsidiary of Newland" and "Newland participates in the development of the Hongmeng system" and so on.
According to the announcement, Spito is the company's grandchild company. On April 9, 2019, the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Identification Company, acquired 51.00% of the equity of Spito by way of its own capital acquisition and capital increase.
According to the announcement, the L0 to L2 level operating system covered by open source Hongmeng covers the application scope of various types of Internet of Things terminal devices, laying a good foundation for cross-end migration and multi-terminal collaboration between devices. As a donor of the Open Harmony project, Spito will be committed to the iteration of subsequent versions of open source Hongmeng and the donation of core code.
Since Huawei officially released Hongmeng 2.0 on June 2, the Hongmeng concept has risen like a rainbow in the secondary market, and the stock price of Newland has also risen sharply in recent days, and on June 11, the stock price hit a new high since October 2020: 17.49 yuan / share.
As of today's close, Newland closed at 16.8 yuan / share, up 3.07%.
