Cao Ren'er, formerly known as Sayin, Manchu, was born in Xingcheng, Liaoning, and now lives in Lanzhou. He is a member of the Chinese Writers Association. Poetry, prose and novel works have been scattered in "People's Literature", "Poetry Journal", "Stars", "National Literature", "Poetry Tide", etc., and his works have been selected into a variety of poetry, prose poem anthologies and annual anthologies, and some works have been translated into English, Korean, Mongolian, Tibetan, kazakh. He is the author of the poetry collection "Far or Near". His works have won the Yellow River Literature Award and the Ethnic Minority Literature Award for many times, and his works have won the third prize in the short story category of the National Novel PEN Association of the Novel Selection. Participated in the 7th "Poetry Journal" Youth Review, the 6th National Ethnic Minority Literature Creation Conference.
Sayin is a Manchu word meaning beautiful and auspicious. As a person's name, it is full of beautiful meanings. But when it comes to Sayin, many people still feel strange, and when it comes to straw people, I believe that many people who love literature and poetry are all too familiar. Straw Man Said: "I am a fan of Sanmao, I like Sanmao's works very much, and after reading her "Scarecrow Handbook", I gave myself the pseudonym 'Straw Man'. ”
The straw man was born in Xingcheng, Liaoning Province. Speaking of hometown, the face of the straw man overflowed with warm ripples and happy pride. "My hometown is a well-preserved ancient city with a history of more than 600 years, with mountains, springs, seas and islands in one, with beautiful scenery," she said. My father graduated from Dalian Railway College, is a veteran college student, and he still preserves a full set of four famous works of thread packaging. When I was young, he read the poems of "Dream of the Red Chamber" to me, he liked the classical poems that rhymed with Ping, and often discussed the poetic rhythm with his friends. And the poems he often blurted out after drinking were also precipitated in the depths of my memory and became the background of future creations. ”
The straw man's mother also had a deep influence on her. "I remember my mother often telling us stories while working, such as chiseling the wall to borrow light, head hanging beam cone thorn strands, and so on. The mother is a very ritualistic person, very particular about the customs of each festival, often make some food, fragrant porridge on the table, the mother will say ' children and children don't worry, after the lapa eight is the year.' Mother's words and deeds made our sisters enjoy the traditional customs and be filled with awe. And my mother borrowed Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales and Grimm's fairy tales from the school library during the winter and summer vacations made us very happy. The invisible influence that our father and mother have given us is enormous, and two of our four sisters are poets, the other being sister Naye. The straw man said.
In the context of the times, the straw people came to Lanzhou with their parents around the age of five or six. "I was born in the northeast, grew up in the northwest, and the hot land of the two sides nurtured and nourished me, and penetrated into my creations..." The straw man told reporters that her poetry writing began in middle school. At that time, I liked Li Qingzhao's Song Ci, so gentle and poignant, reciting her words over and over again, 'Seeking and seeking, cold and cold, miserable and miserable... 'Intoxicated in the poignant atmosphere created by her stacked words and sentences; like the love tragedy of Lu You and Tang Wan' red crisp hands, yellow vine wine, the city full of spring color palace wall willows, the east wind is evil, the joy is thin, a sadness, a few years away from the rope, wrong and wrong'; also like Guo Xiaochuan's "My Green Yarn Tent" and a little sadness for him to accidentally light a mosquito net and die. When she was in college, The Straw Man returned to her homeland, and from then on, she began to look after the obscure poetry of the city and the North Island, and began to quietly write smart verses. She likes to read Naran's poem "A journey to the mountains, a journey to the water, a trip to the Yuguan, the night knows the tent lamp" "The residual snow condenses the cold painting screen, the falling plum horizontal flute has changed three times, and no one is in the moon". The poet's loneliness and poignancy conform to the coldness of the straw man's heart. The straw man, who was not yet 20 years old, wrote: "This night / Only the moonlight accompanies me / My grasshoppers sing for me / The old vines of the eaves / Dance with the wind / Move an old chair and admire the clouds." She said, "That year, I seemed to be old. ”
After graduation, the straw man returned to Lanzhou and worked in the financial industry. During this period, she came into contact with many Gansu poets because of her poetry, such as Li Laoxiang, Yang Biao, Ren Lin, Gu Ma and so on. "Getting to know these poets was one of the motivations that motivated me to continue my poetry writing." Straw Man joked: "My job seems to have nothing to do with literature and poetry, and I often ridicule my writing and work' to 'count money during the day and write poetry at night.'" This went on for more than thirty years, and poetry has always been an important part of my life, not to bring me a moment of excitement and joy, but to be with me and to be a close friend of each other. ”
Compared with the writing of many people, the writing state of the straw man is relaxed, even like a hand, and there is not much purpose and attachment, perhaps it is precisely because of this mentality that a poet writes good poetry in the most relaxed state of mind. One critic once said of her poems: "There is warmth in the cold, evil in simplicity, violence in loneliness, and uneasiness in tranquility." After reading her poems, the reader has a subtle sense of both conflict and balance, and two seemingly contradictory feelings flow through her verses, parallel.
The poetry of the straw man seems to come from her life essence, and those seemingly simple and even simple verses present a poetic rambling, but the aftertaste is long when thought about. She even has almost "simple" poetry, with a strong innocence and childlike interest. For example, "Falling in Your Own Trap": "Big pit / small pit / Pothole / Little ant standing on the edge of the pit / Don't understand love / Flutter / Jump down." The true meaning of this poem may come from such simplicity. Compared with some obscure or rhetorical so-called poems, this kind of childlike and clear verse can touch the reader's heart more.
The reporter asked where the inspiration for this kind of poetry full of life interest of the straw man came from? She pondered for a moment and said, "Maybe it has something to do with the infiltration of our own culture." I remember when I was a child, I heard the mythical story of Manchu origin, in Changbai Mountain, there is a Bukuli Mountain, there is a lake on the mountain, because of the beautiful scenery, there are three fairies descending from the sky and bathing in the lake, and the youngest little sister Fokulun swallowed the Zhuguo from the magpie, conceived and gave birth to a man, he is the ancestor of Manchuria Bukuri Yongshun. This mythical story was full of magical imaginations in my early childhood, they were far away from me and very close to me, and this distance is the distance and span of poetry. Based on this, in the darkness, the collection of poems I later created was also titled "Far or Near". ”
Love is the eternal theme of poetry, but each poet interprets it differently, either warmly, or implicitly, or broadly, or subtlely. Throughout the poetry of the straw man, with the unique perspective and touch of women, there is no lack of love in her works. "Think / How much evil there is in my bones / How much love there is / They grow together / A little bit of mutual penetration of my watery body / I just feel / I am also a watery plant / / Such an afternoon / Think like this / I will be as good as the sun" ("I am as good as the sun"), this poem makes people feel as soft and stretched as water weeds, feel the joy of life and sunshine, and the warmth that blooms in the work is naturally "as good as the sun".
"Tell you an adult's story" is another love poem of the straw man: "Shrink your ears / I will tell you the story of an adult / Once upon a time there was a mountain / There was a temple in the mountain / There was an old monk in the temple / He said that the woman under the mountain is a tiger / Feed you a jelly bean / The tiger does not eat people." Looking at such poetry, people can't help but be amused, and here in the poet, it seems that Wan'er has a smile and has meaning. A pure person, even if she has a complicated life experience, she can still see her pure heart from the poem.
