Pay attention to the purchase of rice dumplings! Shandong reported that this batch of chestnut dumplings Acemetic was unqualified

Food Partner Network News On June 8, the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau issued a notice on the sampling of Zongzi food in 2021 No. 25 (total No. 298), in order to further protect the food safety of the festival market, the Shandong Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau conducted supervision and sampling of a total of 160 batches of samples of Zongzi food, of which 1 batch of samples was unqualified in the initial inspection conclusion, and the problem of over-range use of food additives was detected.

Sampling information shows that the unqualified products are chestnut dumplings sold in Dafuyuan Shopping Center, Guangrao Street, Guangrao County, Dongying City, Acesulfame potassium does not meet the provisions of national food safety standards, and the inspection agency is Weifang Product Quality Inspection Institute. The nominal production enterprise Shandong Dongtai Aquatic Food Co., Ltd. raised objections to the batch of products, and the objections are now being disposed of according to law.

It is understood that according to the "Measures for the Administration of Food Safety Sampling Inspection", during the objection period, food producers and traders should immediately take risk control measures such as sealing unqualified food, suspending the production and operation of unqualified food, notifying relevant producers and operators and consumers, recalling unqualified food that has been listed for sale, and checking the causes of unqualified food and rectifying them.

Acesulfame potassium, also known as acesulfame potassium, tastes like sucrose, has a sweetness of 200 times that of sucrose, and is a sweetener commonly used in food. Acesulfame potassium is not metabolized in the human body, completely free of calories, and is added to food according to the standard without causing physical harm. The National Standard for Food Safety and the Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulate that acesulfame potassium shall not be used in frozen rice noodle products. The reason for the detection of acesulfame potassium in rice dumplings (quick-frozen) may be that the company uses the additive beyond the scope to increase the sweetness of the product, or it may be that the compound additive it uses contains the additive.

In particular, consumers should purchase food through formal and reliable channels and save the corresponding shopping vouchers, and see clearly whether the relevant marks on the outer packaging, such as the production date, shelf life, producer name and address, ingredient or ingredient list, food production license number, etc. are complete. When purchasing or finding the non-conforming products in the notice in the market, please call the 12315 hotline to make a complaint or report.
