Jiangshan this hot land, out of the three academicians!

November 27 and 28,

Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences

The lists of newly elected academicians in 2017 were announced separately

The title of "Academician"

It can be said that many scientific researchers have pursued their lives

But you know what,

In our country, there have also been three academicians

Today, let xiaobian introduce it to you

physicist

Hu Renyu

Jiangshan this hot land, out of the three academicians!

Hu Renyu, a physicist, was born on July 20, 1931 in Jiangshan. He studied at Jiangshan Zhicheng Middle School (now Jiangshan No. 2 Middle School), Zhejiang Provincial Hangzhou Senior High School, and Tsinghua University.

In 1952, after graduating from the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University, Hu Renyu was elected to the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Because of the solid basic knowledge of the profession and the good research, it is regarded as a rare "good seedling" by qian Sanqiang, Wang Ganchang and other scientists of the older generation who love talent and thirst, and focus on cultivating them.

In September 1956, Hu Renyu was selected to pursue graduate studies at the Lebedev Institute of Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences, where he was engaged in the study of photo-induced light nuclear reactions. His mentor was chelenkov, a world-renowned physicist and later Nobel Prize winner.

He has been engaged in experimental nuclear physics, plasma physics, accelerator physics, reactor physics. After the end of the 1970s, he participated in the establishment of the Inertial Constrained Fusion Laboratory, which began to take shape and achieved distinctive research results.

In June 1983, Hu Renyu served as the vice president of the Ninth Academy, assisting the dean Deng Jiaxian, the "Founder of the Two Bombs", to organize and lead the scientific research work of the whole academy. In September 1985, he took over the work of Deng Jiaxian, who was seriously ill, as acting president and undertook the leadership of the whole hospital. In 1986, he became president of the China Academy of Engineering Physics. Hu Renyu worked with Deng Jiaxian in 1952 until his death in 1986. In July 1987, the central authorities invited Hu Renyu and more than 10 other scientists with major contributions to Beidaihe to recuperate, and were cordially received by Comrade Deng Xiaoping. Among the many experts who were interviewed at that time, Hu Renyu's name ranked first.

In 1991, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Virologist

Mao Johnson

Mao Jiangsen, a virologist, was born in Jiangshan in 1934. He graduated from Shanghai First Medical College in 1956.

In the late 1950s, Mao Johnson was engaged in research on poliovirus, vaccines and cell culture techniques, contributing to the development of live polio vaccines.

In the 1960s, the effect of D20 on virus proliferation and its mechanism of action were studied, the possible mechanism of D20's effect on virus was proposed, the production of interferon was increased and the production of interferon was established and systematically studied.

At the end of the 1970s, hepatitis A virus (HAV) was isolated, and it was found that red-faced monkeys and rhesus macaques had an infection and immune response to HAV, which proved that there was a hidden infection of hepatitis A, haV was found to proliferate in the tissue culture intraplasmic reticulum, and a live attenuated vaccine of hepatitis A (H2 attenuated strain) was cultured to make a safe and effective live vaccine, which made a major breakthrough in controlling the epidemic of hepatitis A.

Specialist in microelectronics and metallurgy

Xu Yuansen

Xu Yuansen, microelectronics and metallurgical expert. Born in Jiangshan in 1926. In 1946, Xu Yuansen was admitted to the Department of Chemical Engineering of Zhejiang University. After graduating from university, he was assigned to the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to engage in scientific research.

In the 1950s, Xu Yuansen applied metallurgical and physical chemistry principles to complete the scientific research tasks in major national construction in complex iron ore smelting and ultrapure metal purification projects such as ductile iron, Baotou and Panzhihua, solved the two major problems of titanium-containing and fluorine-containing iron ore smelting in the history of ironmaking, enriched the physical chemistry of ironmaking and metallurgical processes, and won the National Natural Science Award three times.

He has long been engaged in the research of metal smelting, semiconductor materials and integrated circuits, and is a well-known integrated circuit expert at home and abroad. More than 100 kinds of integrated circuits such as DTL, TTL, ECL, EPROM, NMOS, CMOS and other series have been successfully developed. His research results have been adopted by many factories and schools in China. He made contributions to the equipment of domestic mainframe computers and won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1985. After 1990, he deeply studied high-speed gallium arsenide gate arrays and ultra-large scale integrated circuits, and obtained a number of inventions. Its more than 20 scientific research achievements such as "high-speed and super-speed two-stage digital integrated circuit", "PM junction isolation technology" and "800016-bit microprocessor circuit" have won the National Science Conference Award, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipal 20 Major Scientific Research Achievement Awards.

In 1995, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

He died on March 27, 2013 at the age of 87.
