During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, under the frenzied invasion of the Japanese Kou and the white terror rule of the Kuomintang, the Taizhou underground party organization of the CPC fought with the enemy and established a mysterious red underground communication line.

This mysterious red underground communication line is connected to the leading organ of the taizhou underground party organization of the CPC at one end, and to the anti-Japanese base area in northern Jiangsu (during the War of Resistance Against Japan) and the guerrilla base area in eastern Zhejiang in SimingShan. No matter how frantically the enemy searched and harassed, this red underground communication line always conveyed the instructions and important intelligence of the Party Central Committee. It was on the basis of this red underground communication line that after Comrade Liu Ying, secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Cpc Committee of the Cpc Central Committee, was arrested and brutally killed by the enemy, Comrade Ding Kuimei, the wife of Comrade Liu Ying, was safely transferred to the Liberated Areas. It was by relying on this red underground communication line that we transferred the backbone of the party in Taizhou and southern Zhejiang to the base area of the New Fourth Army in northern Jiangsu and the base area of simingshan and eastern Zhejiang.

During the War of Liberation, the Taizhou Party organization re-established a new underground liaison and transportation station, received instructions from higher-level Party organizations, carried out intelligence gathering work, and secretly carried out counter-insurgency work, making contributions to the victorious liberation of Taizhou.

On this red underground communication line, the blood of revolutionary martyrs flowed, leaving behind the footprints of the party's underground workers who fought in obscurity for the cause of national liberation, as well as their legendary stories of one after another wit and bravery, fighting wits and courage against the enemy, and not being afraid of bloodshed and sacrifice.

On July 7, 1937, the Japanese invaders brazenly provoked the Lugou Bridge Incident, which shocked China and foreign countries, and launched an all-out war of aggression against China. The Chinese military and people rose up to resist the aggression of the Japanese and Kosovars, and the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out in an all-round way. At a time when the Chinese nation was facing a critical survival, the Communist Party of China issued a call to "build a solid Great Wall of the National United Front to resist the Japanese aggressors," setting off an upsurge of resistance to Japan and national salvation throughout the country.

In May 1938, the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to establish a provisional special committee for Taiwan under the Communist Party of China, with Su Shiping as secretary. In October, the Taiwan Provisional Special Committee was transformed into a formal special committee, and the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China appointed Liu Qingyang, a member of the provincial party committee, to serve as the secretary of the special committee of the Taiwan provincial committee. After the establishment of the CPC's Taiwan Special Committee, the counties under its jurisdiction have successively established county (worker) committees and other county-level party organizations to lead and promote the Taizhou people's anti-Japanese and rescue activities to a new climax. At the same time, the CPC's Taiwan Special Committee actively prepared for the establishment of anti-Japanese armed forces under the leadership of the party, demanding that "the parties in all localities should do everything possible to select appropriate areas and establish armed work as base areas for guerrilla warfare against the Japanese in the future."

Although Chiang Kai-shek verbally acknowledged the legitimate status of the Communist Party of China, he formulated a series of reactionary policies of "dissolving the Communist Party," "preventing communism," "restricting communism," and "opposing communism." With the intensification of the anti-communist activities of the Diehard Kuomintang faction, the Taiwan Special Committee and party organizations at all levels had to turn into a secret state and strengthen the covert struggle. The location of the Taiwan Special Committee is also very mobile, and it has been set up in Huangyan City Guan Shude Primary School, Haimen Dongshan Middle School, Yueqing Putou, Linhai Linggen, Huangyan Tongshukeng and other places. In order to strengthen the ties between the organs of the special committee and the party organizations in various localities, the Special Committee under Taiwan has strengthened the work of secret communication and liaison, and has successively established some secret contact points (stations).

In October 1939, the Cpc's Taiwan Special Committee decided to establish the Ninghai County Working Committee of the CPC (at that time, the three gates belonged to Ninghai and Linhai, and because the main activities of the party organization belonged to Ninghai, the county committee established was called the Ninghai County Working Committee), with Lin Keguang as the secretary. Lin Keguang teaches at Qiao Guang Middle School, is a colleague with Zhang Xiaqu, and is a classmate of his sister Zhang Caixiang. After a period of contact and understanding, at the end of the same year, Lin Keguang developed Zhang Xiaqu and Zhang Caixiang to join the party organization. Zhang Xiaqu and Zhang Caixiang opened a cake shop in Haiyou, called Evergrande Cake Shop. In order to facilitate the delivery of letters to the members of the county working committee, Evergrande Cake Shop has become a traffic liaison station for the county working committee.

Ninghai (Sanmen) has a glorious revolutionary tradition, as early as the second half of 1927, the Zhejiang Provincial Cpc Committee and the Ninghai (Sanmen) County Committee established district committees in accordance with the spirit of the party's "Eighty-Seven" meeting and the central directives, and issued a document in April 1928, proposing that "it is necessary to use a piece of transportation to pass messages between counties and districts from time to time." In a short period of time, a relatively complete communication network was formed in the whole county, creating an extremely favorable communication and liaison system for the armed uprising next to the pavilion. Before and after the Tingbian uprising, the Ninghai (Sanmen) County Party Committee relied on this communication and liaison network to lead and direct the mobilization of party organizations and armed forces throughout the county. On May 26, 1928, the Tingpan rebel forces captured the town of Tingpan and established the first Soviet power in Zhejiang Province. After the failure of the Tingbian uprising, white terror enveloped Ninghai (Sanmen), and many party organization leaders and traffic liaison officers were captured and killed by the enemy, and the party's transportation liaison work was interrupted, but the red seed had taken root deeply in this land.

At the end of 1939, under the leadership of the Ninghai (Sanmen) County Working Committee, the party's grass-roots organizations in Haiyou, Tingbian, Zhuao and other places developed rapidly. In order to strengthen the traffic liaison work of party organizations in various localities, a number of traffic liaison stations have been set up in Haiyou, Tingbian, Zhuao and other places. In addition to the Evergrande cake shop in Haiyou, the home of Zheng Yongchun, a party member of Zhu'ao Xiayang Village, is also a fixed contact point, and the Xiekang North and South Grocery Stores of Yang Daodu next to the pavilion have successively become important traffic liaison stations for the county working committee. In addition, around Haiyou Town, there are also a number of communication contact points, such as Jinxian Yijia, Tingshan Primary School, Zhushan Primary School, etc. in Jinjian Village, which are connected with neighboring counties such as Linhai, Tiantai and Wenling, forming a traffic liaison network centered on Ninghai (Sanmen) County.
