My family lives in the Huahong Dam under the Phoenix Mountain, and the mountains on the east, south and west sides surround this flat field dam. In the center of the dam is the Zhijin River, a mother river that has been flowing north for decades. Today, the Phoenix Wetland Park, which is crisscrossed with lakes, has completely changed the appearance of the hometown.

For as long as I can remember, the weaving gold river fish and shrimp that originated at the foot of Phoenix Mountain are flocked, and baby fish can often be seen. Herons, long-legged storks, and white cranes wait for birds, rising and falling in the fields, and the beautiful scenery of the hometown seems to be a poetic ink painting. Later, due to the coal mining on the Phoenix Mountain, coupled with the serious deforestation of the primeval forest, the ecological vegetation was destroyed, and the yellowed rust water flowed into the Zhijin River, and the fish and shrimp gradually disappeared. Especially in the summer rainstorm, the flash floods carry a large amount of sediment and rush into the Huahongtian Dam, the strong rice seedlings are buried in the sand, the riverbed is also raised year by year, and the natural river embankment collapses everywhere, and the entire dam is devastated.

During the summer vacation when I was thirteen, I joined the production team. At the entrance of today's park, A holiday of river embankment repair work was carried out, which made me feel the hardships of labor. Since then, here at intervals of three forks and five places have been carried out to treat the symptoms of the river, not the root cause, on the entire Zhijin River, the treated places, like patches on the earth, flood control function is better than nothing. Until later, the Bijie Experimental Area launched the 3356 project of "development and poverty alleviation, ecological construction", the hometown returned farmland to forest on a large scale, the vegetation was protected, and the Phoenix Mountain became lush again.

In recent years, the source of the Zhijin River at the foot of the Phoenix Mountain to the river channel of the 7-highway of the manhole outside the south gate of Zhijin County has been thoroughly improved and improved, and the flood has been completely cured. The two banks of the river have also created a landscape belt of 1900 acres, and now the weavers have a good place to relax after tea and dinner.

On weekends, I take my grandchildren with me and wander through Phoenix Park, or take in the beauty of the lake's wetlands along the colorful trails along the lakeshore, or experience the thrill of a playground roller coaster. On the Island of Time, step on the compass of time, waiting for the pointer to slowly move on the compass scale under the projection of the sun. I told the children that this is the "Heavenly Dry Earth Branch" timekeeping method invented by the old Ancestors of China thousands of years ago, and the children are amazed and feel the mystery of the cycle of time. Under the Fengyan Rock, I told them the beautiful legend of "Fengling Chaozong", the story of the peasant uprising of the Miao people in Fenghuangshan Mountain, the historical changes in the management of the river in their hometown, enhanced their awareness of loving the countryside, and let them perceive the beauty of their hometown today.

At the foot of the mountains on both sides of Phoenix Park, rows of Qianbei houses are arranged between the woods and bamboo forests, which appear from time to time, revealing peace and tranquility. In the summer, the roses that climb the walls of the courtyard are even more vibrant. At night, walk along the river embankment, nineteen barrages fall into the dam, forming a cascade of small waterfalls, the sunset afterglow shines on the water, the clear river water jumps on the golden wave, so that the happy mood follows the splash. Pacing to the newly built wetland inhabited by migratory birds, watch white cranes comb their feathers with their beaks, herons playing with golden roosters independently, and unknown water birds flying past the water. The people who watched the birds, no one disturbed them. The Zhijin River flows unhurriedly towards zhijin County, singing and laughing all the way, and moisturizing the living beings all the way.

In the early morning, I stood at the gate of the park, looking at Fengyan in the distance, this phoenix facing the county seat, holding its head high, the green mountains on both sides of the dam, like the two wings of the phoenix, are about to soar into the sky.
