With a forest coverage rate of 55.8%, a forest stock of 5.25 million cubic meters, and a forest land tenure of 2.185 million mu, Lushan is one of the 25 forest-based mountain counties in Henan Province. All this is due to Lushan County's adherence to and development of the concept of "ecological priority". As a national ecological demonstration area, a national garden county, and a chinese ecological charm county, Lushan County, known as "natural oxygen bar", has firmly established the green development concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains" in recent years, implemented the strategy of "ecological county building", combined the implementation of the land green acceleration action with poverty alleviation work, actively explored measures to increase greenery and protect the green ecology and enrich the people, and built ten ecological poverty alleviation industrial bases in the county, such as blueberries, blood peaches, soft seed pomegranates, crisp pears, and winter peaches. The county's crisp pear, blueberry and other forest fruits have become the main production area of the province, Tianjian agricultural vegetables are exclusively for Guangzhou, Hong Kong, shiitake mushroom production and sales rank among the top three in the province, known as "China's shiitake mushroom capital".
Industry + cultural tourism, so that "poetry and far away" into one
Lushan Mountains and rivers are beautiful, and tourism resources are unique. There are more than 10 A-class scenic spots and 2378 single tourism landscapes, accounting for 6% of Henan Province and 56.6% of Pingdingshan City. Yaoshan Scenic Area is a national 5A-level scenic spot and a national-level tourist resort.

Huayuangou Village in Lushan County is located in a deep mountain, with a forest coverage rate of up to 95%, which is a pure ecological natural oxygen bar. The village has transformed and upgraded some of the infrastructure in the village, transformed the abandoned village primary school into a high-grade courtyard Qingshuiyuan Mountain Residence integrating accommodation and catering, built 6 new-style homestays on the side of the small river, designed and transformed 10 idle old houses, and created a self-service farm courtyard. Nowadays, every holiday, the garden ditch is constantly occupied.
Industry + relocation, move out to be stable and get rich
Lushan is a large mountainous county, and during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the population of Lushan County was relocated to 3128 households and 11028 people. In order to make the relocation situation stable, Lushan County has built 7 resettlement site photovoltaic power stations, 3 poverty alleviation workshops, 4 vegetable greenhouses, and 3 farmhouse hotels according to local conditions, and implemented incentive measures such as industrial awards and subsidies for the development of the relocated masses, achieving full coverage of the industrial development of the relocated masses. Carried out 23 phases of skills training such as planting, breeding, processing, and transfer of employment, trained more than 5,000 people, signed more than 30 poverty agreements, and encouraged and guided nearby employment. 32 centralized resettlement sites have been built, all of which have been relocated and moved in, and a total of 2681 households with labor capacity have been relocated in the county, and at least 1 labor force has been achieved stable employment.
