Yesterday I entered the first day of plant dyeing to learn practical exercises.

The first is the collection and extraction of plant dyes, just in the alley where the National Dyeing Hall is located, the branches and leaves of the dragon's claw locust are collected.

Shredded, washed, extracted, stained once completed.

This was followed by other red and yellow series dyeing exercises.

The dyes used are carmine, lac red, sumac, red rosewood, red rosewood, yellow oak, pomegranate peel, green tea, black tea, knotweed, dragon's claw locust, rhubarb, rose ash, toon fruit, potato and other more than a dozen plant dyes.

Dyed fabrics include cotton, silk georgette, silk cotton corduroy and so on.

Staining methods include direct staining and vector staining. At the same time, the color block dyeing of some of the two dyes was also carried out.

Complete 56 color samples.

The participants in this training are basically the first practical operation, and the coursework is well completed.

The training of the Kokusaikan focuses on practical operation.

Today we will continue the learning and practical operation of the blue-green department.
