Guo Pu is the originator of Chinese feng shui, and his book "Burial Classic", also known as "Burial Book", discusses feng shui and its importance, and is the ancestor of Chinese feng shui culture.

Guo Pu (276–324), courtesy name Jingchun. A native of Wenxi County, Hedong County (present-day Wenxi, Shanxi). A famous writer, hermenist, and feng shui scholar of the Two Jin Dynasties, he was the son of Guo Zhen (郭瑗), the taishou of Jianping.

"The Book of Burial", written by Mr. Han Qingwu. Mr. Qingwu is a name. China's funerary culture has always been relatively developed, and the relative literature is relatively rich, and among them, Qing Wuzi's "Burial Classic" is the first to be promoted.

The ideological content of the Burial Sutra was inherited and played by later feng shui books. QingWuzi's "Burial Classic" can be described as the sect of feng shui, and to understand Chinese feng shui culture, we have to start with Qingwuzi's "Burial Classic".

Guo Pu learned a lot from a young man, and then studied Bu Zheng with Guo Gong in Hedong. During the Yongjia Rebellion, he avoided chaos and went south, and was recruited by Xuancheng Taishou Yin You and Wang Dao to join the army. Emperor Yuan of Jin paid homage to Zuo Lang and co-authored the History of Jin with Wang Yin. Later, he joined the army for the general Wang Dunji, but was killed instead of dissuading Wang Dunmou with Bu Xiao.

After Wang Dun's rebellion was settled, he posthumously gave Hongnong Taishou. Emperor Huizong of Song posthumously enfeoffed Wen Xibo, and Emperor Yuanshun posthumously created Lingying Marquis.

Guo Pu was the most famous alchemist of the Two Jin Dynasties, and legend has it that he was good at predicting prophets and many strange alchemys.

He is good at ancient Chinese and strange characters, fine astronomy, almanac, and bu zheng, and is good at Fuwen, especially the name of "YouXian Poem".

The "Poetry" said that it "began to change the plain body of Yongjia, so it was called the first in Zhongxing", and the "Wenxin Carved Dragon" also said: "Jing Pure Immortal Chapter, straight and handsome".

He has written notes for "Erya", "Dialect", "Shan Hai Jing", "Mu Tianzi Biography", "Funeral Classic", which was passed down to the world, and the Ming people have a compilation of "Guo Hongnong's Collection".
