Tomorrow evening, they will perform "Impressions of Ningbo – Yu Feng and Ningbo Symphony Orchestra Symphony Concert" at the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) is the highest temple of Performing Arts in China and a stage that all art groups aspire to. As a grand event of symphonic music, this year's "Chinese Symphony Spring" celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the performance with the theme of "A Century of Glory • Echoes of the Times" has special significance.

Among them, "Ningbo Suite" is the latest creation of Jia Guoping, professor of the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, for Ningbo, and is divided into four movements: "The Sound of Hemudu", "Qianhu Painting", "Green Mountains and Green Mountains", and "Drums and Sails", interpreting "Impression of Ningbo".

Cello player Chen Yalu said: "A few days ago, under the leadership of President Yu Feng, we have fully prepared for the repertoire that will be played, and we are looking forward to this performance. Chief Trombone Zhang Bi specially changed a suit for this "appearance", "Representing the image of the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra!" The 2017 inductee said with a smile that this is the third time he has entered Beijing with the troupe, "the biennial 'Chinese Symphony Spring', which is the highest level of symphony exchange platform in China, is very excited to participate in such a grand event..."

It is understood that after arriving in Beijing last night, the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra will complete the rehearsal of the main song "Yellow River Chorus" in the second half of the performance at the Central Conservatory of Music and the Academy Choir today, and enter the National Centre for the Performing Arts tomorrow afternoon for the final synthetic rehearsal.
