The large-scale original red musical "Yak Revolution" premiered in Rong

On the evening of June 10, the large-scale original red musical "Yak Revolution" carefully created by the Aba Prefecture National Song and Dance Troupe after two years was premiered at the Chengdu City Concert Hall.

"Yak Revolution" is divided into two chapters, which is a high-quality literary and artistic drama that Aba Prefecture focuses on creating to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the party. The musical takes the famous "Yak Revolution" that took place in Aba Prefecture as the main plot line, with the theme of the Red Army's grain collection from the local people and toast in songpan grassland, and through what the grain collection team saw, heard and felt, it truly told the red army's feat of climbing the snowy mountains and crossing the grassland.

"In the music, we use elements rich in Tibetan and Qiang music colors, and at the same time, in 27 songs, we also integrate musical languages such as electronic, symphonic, and original ecological repetition." Qian Qi, an associate professor at the Central Conservatory of Music who composed the play and won the "Golden Bell Award", introduced that he hopes to use this musical expression that conforms to contemporary aesthetics to let more young people enter this history.

At present, the play has been selected by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles to perform in the main venue of the Sichuan Provincial Excellent Repertoire Exhibition Season celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and plans to tour in Beijing and other places.
