On November 20, 2020, the Xinzhou Town Comprehensive Management Office and the Narcotics Control Office held a regular meeting on comprehensive management to make corresponding scheduling arrangements for the prohibition of drug eradication from 2020 to 2021, as well as for the participation of community drug rehabilitation and community rehabilitation personnel in basic medical insurance.

Zhu Fanghua, director of the Comprehensive Management Office, pointed out that it is necessary to implement the spirit of the instructions of the provinces, municipalities and districts to carry out the work of "safe care" for drug addicts, and ensure that all social rehabilitation and social welfare personnel in their jurisdiction can be 100% included in urban and rural basic medical insurance and enjoy relevant medical policies in 2021. And timely grasp the information of the community drug rehabilitation personnel who are newly added every day and who have been interrupted for reasons in the jurisdiction, and ensure that the participation rate reaches 100%.

The meeting stressed that at present, it is the season of sowing the original plants of narcotics, and our town must intensify the inspection of the work of banning the cultivation of narcotics, strive to ensure that "the seeds do not fall to the ground," and curb the illegal and criminal acts of illegally cultivating the original plants of narcotics in a "zero" state. All villages (communities) should intensify their investigations and extensively mobilize the masses of the people to actively participate; police stations and anti-narcotics offices should set up a reporting telephone and reward system; and judicial offices should popularize the anti-narcotics law and the legal consequences of growing narcotics and plants to all villagers in their jurisdictions.

Through this meeting, the contents of the recent and urgent anti-narcotics work will be arranged and implemented one by one, so as to complete the anti-narcotics work tasks in quality and quantity within the time limit.
