On September 2, Cai Hui, second-level inspector of the Third Supervision Group of the Department of Natural Resources of Henan Province, and Professor Tian Dongsheng, an expert in geological disasters, went to Jiyuan Demonstration Area to inspect and guide post-disaster reconstruction and disaster prevention and control. Li Jiujun, secretary of the party group and director of the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau of the Jiyuan Demonstration Zone, Feng Changchun, member of the party group and deputy director, and personnel of the technical support unit stationed in Jiyuan Demonstration Zone accompanied the inspection and guidance.
The supervision team and his party successively went to the landslide geological disaster point in Maoling Village, Potou Town, the landslide geological disaster site of The First Middle School in Wangwu Town, and the Wangwu Mountain Scenic Area to conduct on-site investigations, understand the disaster situation on the spot, and carefully listen to the reports on the prevention and control of geological disasters in the demonstration area, post-disaster reconstruction, and verification of hidden danger points of post-disaster geological disasters.
During the inspection, the supervision group pointed out that all departments should always adhere to the concept of "people first, life first", firmly establish the awareness of disaster prevention, always maintain a high degree of vigilance, strengthen the inspection and monitoring of dangerous situations, ensure that the problems of hidden risks are investigated and rectified in a timely manner, resolutely prevent casualties caused by geological disasters, go all out to promote post-disaster reconstruction, and restore the production and living order of the disaster-stricken people as soon as possible.
