With "not forgetting the original intention and keeping firmly in mind the mission" as the main line, the exhibition embodies the history of the party's unremitting struggle, the history of not being afraid of sacrifice, the history of theoretical exploration, the history of benefiting the people, and the history of self-construction, and carefully designs the "building the Communist Party of China to win the great victory of the new democratic revolution," "establishing the People's Republic of China to carry out socialist revolution and construction," "implementing reform and opening up, creating and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics," and "promoting socialism with Chinese characteristics into a new era to build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way." "4 parts of the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country", 4548 pieces (sets) of cultural relics were exhibited on the exhibition.
The Chinese Communist Party History Exhibition Hall seconded 33 cultural relics from Guangxi, including the sword used by Feng Zicai in the Sino-French War and the iron helmet used by Feng Zicai's army to fight against the French army.
Introduction of some cultural relics
The sword that Feng Zicai used in the Sino-French War: a second-class cultural relic. Length 57.7cm, width 3.2cm. In 1958, it was purchased from Feng Chengzhen, No. 27 Baisha Street, Qinzhou Town, Qinzhou County. It is a rare sword with an orderly inheritance of Feng Zicai.
The iron helmet used by Feng Zicai's army against the French army: a second-class cultural relic. The two pieces are 23.5 cm long, 18 cm wide, 11 cm high and 24.5 cm long, 17 cm wide and 8.8 cm high, respectively. Collected in Longzhou in 1958. In March 1885, Feng Zicai led his army to defeat the French army at Nanguan (present-day Friendship Pass) in Pingxiang Town, and the Qing army used this kind of mask as a shield when fighting the enemy, and the two masks had different specifications, indicating that most of the equipment of the Chinese army during the Sino-French War was hand-built or unique to each person.
Biography
Feng Zicai (July 29, 1818 – September 18, 1903), also known as Nangan, was born in Shawei Village, Qinzhou, Lianzhou Prefecture, Guangdong (now part of Shawei Village, Qinzhou, Guangxi), a general and national hero of the late Qing Dynasty.
Feng Zicai's parents died in childhood, and he was exiled to the rivers and lakes, and later participated in the anti-Qing uprising, and accepted zhao'an after failure. During the Xianfeng period, Xiang Rong and Zhang Guoliang suppressed the Taiping Army. He served as the viceroy of Guangxi and Guizhou. At the time of the Sino-French War, he was nearly seventy years old, and was appointed as the military deputy of Guangxi Guanwai, won the victory in the Battle of Zhennanguan, conquered Wenyuan and Langshan, and severely damaged the French commander Nigri, and the French army was annihilated by more than a thousand people, and the French prime minister Ruferi fell. He was appointed Viceroy of Yunnan. During the Sino-Japanese War, he was stationed in Zhenjiang, and the official was the viceroy of Guizhou, and the tired official was the prince Shaobao. Feng Zicai ruled the army for more than forty years, and the cold su was as usual.
In the twenty-ninth year of Guangxu (1903), Feng Zicai died of illness at the age of 85. After Feng Zicai died of illness and was buried in Qinzhou, the imperial court ordered the construction of the "Feng Yongyi Gong ancestral hall" in the southeast corner of Qinzhou City, called "Gong bao ancestral hall".
