The Han family's pegasus is out of the puss, and the alfalfa durian flowers are all over the suburbs.

The inner garden only knows that it contains a phoenix mouth, and there is no chicken warp in the car.

Jade Peach stole pity on Fang Shuo, and the golden house was cultivated into a storage of Ajiao.

Who expected Su Qing to return to China, Maoling Pine Cypress Rain Xiao Xiao.

The meaning of this poem is: Emperor Wu of Han obtained the Dawan Qianli horse, named Pu Zi, and the alfalfa pomegranates from the western regions were planted close to the palace. Shooting and hunting in the inner garden, gluing the broken bow string with the mouth of the phoenix, once upon a time the emperor died, the broken string can be continued but the life span is difficult to extend. His special car no longer carries the luan flag (folk called chicken warp) to parade around (this sentence is also explained as Emperor Wu of Han likes to micro-walk, that is, pretending to be an ordinary person to go out for a tour, so the car does not use honor guards). Emperor Wu liked to ask for immortals, and he trusted Dongfang Shuo, who had stolen the Queen Mother's peach. He also liked women's sex, and built a gorgeous golden house to hide Chen Ajiao. Who knew that when Su Wu returned to the motherland in his old age, Emperor Wu had passed away, and he could only hear the sound of Xiao Xiaoyu on the pines of Maoling.

In Li Shangyin's poem, the relevant stories and legends mentioned are as follows: Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent the general Li Guangli to lead an army to conquer the Western Regions of Dawan, and obtained dawan's Thousand Mile Horse Khan Blood Horse, named Pu Zi. Since many famous horses imported from the Western Regions like to eat alfalfa, and the Western Regions also produce grapes and pomegranates that are not available in Chang'an, special emissaries are sent to collect seeds of alfalfa, pomegranates and grapes from the Western Regions and plant them near the Imperial Palace of the Han Dynasty in Chang'an. This was the beginning of the introduction of plants such as alfalfa into the interior of our country.

The third sentence of the poem refers to an ancient legend. The fairy boiled phoenix beak and unicorn horn as glue, called "continuous string glue" or "even gold clay", it can immediately glue broken bow strings or broken metal swords. When Emperor Wu of Han was emperor, the emissaries of the Western Kingdom came to offer this glue, and Emperor Wu did not know how to use it. Later Emperor Wu shot a tiger in Hualin Garden, the crossbow string was broken, and the emissaries of the Western Kingdom saw it from the side, wet a little of this glue with their mouths, and immediately glued the string. Emperor Wu was amazed, causing several samurai to pull this glued string at both ends, and how to pull it continuously. "With a phoenix mouth" is to wet the glue with saliva.

The "jade peach" in the fifth sentence is the peach of the Queen Mother's mother written in the novel "Journey to the West", and it is said that after eating it, it can make people immortal. Dongfang Shuo was a courtier of Emperor Wu of Han, good at humorous speech and impromptu response, and often skillfully satirized Emperor Wu, but in the novel, he was portrayed as an inferior godman. Legend has it that the Queen Mother of the West once gave Emperor Wu Xian Peach to eat, and Dongfang Shuo peeked out of the window, and the Queen Mother of the West said, "This little child who peeked out of the window once came to steal my Peach three times." ”

The "Ajiao" in the sixth sentence is the first empress of Emperor Wu of Han. When Emperor Wu was only a few years old, his aunt, Princess Chang, took him on her lap and asked him, "Do you want a wife?" He replied that he wanted to, so the eldest princess pointed to the maids left and right, and he said no, and finally the eldest princess pointed to her daughter Chen Ajiao and asked, "Is Ah Jiao okay?" Emperor Wu smiled and replied, "If You have to be a wife, I will build a special golden house for her to live in." The eldest princess was overjoyed, and often said that Emperor Wu's child was good in front of Emperor Wu's father, Emperor Jing of Han, and sure enough, Emperor Wu was made crown prince, and Chen Ajiao married Emperor Wu. After Emperor Wu ascended the throne, Chen Ajiao was favored for more than ten years. Later generations of idiom "Golden House Hidden Jiao", from this story. After Emperor Wu ascended the throne, the eldest princess thought that she had merit and asked for a lot of demands, and when she was not satisfied, Emperor Wu was very bored. Over time, her favor for Ah Jiao also declined, and Ah Jiao was very jealous, and in order to redeem Emperor Wu's favor for her, she called a witch to perform witchcraft. In ancient times, this was a great rebellion, and When Emperor Wu found out, he was very angry and deposed Empress Chen, causing her to move to the Cold Palace. Chen Ajiao heard that Sima Xiangru's article was particularly well written, so she gave him a hundred pounds of gold (which should be bronze), and Sima Xiangru wrote her a "Nagato Fu" for Emperor Wu to read, and it is said that Emperor Wu was very touched after reading it. The result? There are two theories: one says that Ah Jiao was favored by Emperor Wu; the other said that she did not play a role. According to historical records, Emperor Wu favored others instead of Beingjiao.

The last two sentences of the Maoling poem speak of Su Wu. Su Wu was ordered to send an envoy to the Xiongnu in the first year of the Han Dynasty of emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, and was detained by the Xiongnu for nineteen years, and was always steadfast and unyielding after being coerced and seduced. By the time the Xiongnu released him back to China, it was already the sixth year of the han zhao emperor's reign, and emperor Wu had already died, so he could only sacrifice to emperor Wu's mausoleum with taijiao on the orders of emperor Zhao. Emperor Zhao died shortly afterwards, and Emperor Xuan of Han, who later ascended the throne, made him the Marquis of Guannei in recognition of Su Wu's discipline and merits. After Su Wu's death, he was buried in Wugong (present-day Wugong Town, Wugong County, Shaanxi), and in front of the tomb there is a stone stele of "Tomb of Su Gongwu of the Han Dynasty".
