Beijing, 10 Jun (Xinhua) -- Comrade Li Jing, former deputy ministerial secretary of the State Administration, died in Beijing on May 9, 2021 at the age of 90 due to ineffective medical treatment.

After the death of Comrade Li Jing, the relevant leading comrades of the central authorities expressed their condolences in different ways and expressed their condolences to their relatives.

Li Jing was born in October 1931 in Anguo, Hebei Province. He joined the revolutionary work in August 1947. From April 1948 to April 1951, he successively served as a primary school teacher in Baoqing County, Songjiang Province, a member of the working group of the county party committee, a propaganda officer of the Propaganda Department, and a translator and telecommunications officer of the county party committee. During this time, he joined the Communist Party of China in July 1949. From April 1951 to October 1953, he served as the secretary of the Confidential Department of the Songjiang Provincial Government and the General Office of the Provincial Party Committee. From October 1953 to April 1959, he was a member of the Secretarial Section of the Confidential Office of the General Office of the Central Committee. From April 1959 to December 1966, he was a confidential secretary of the General Office of the Central Committee. From December 1966 to June 1975, he studied in the study class of the General Office of the Central Committee and worked in the "May Seventh" school. From June 1975 to December 1979, he served as the chief of the Bureau of Letters and Visits of the General Office of the CENTRAL Committee and a negotiator. From December 1979 to April 2009, he served as the secretary of the leading comrades, during which time he served as the deputy director of the office of the State Structural Reform Commission from May 1983 to June 1985. He retired in April 2009.
