Lessons from playing vespas in the bee farm in the fall

Since raising bees for more than 20 years, the wasps in the bee farm in the autumn have been stung by the wasps twice, and the pain is unbearable, and the lessons are not small.

Every year between August and the "Li Dong" festival, there are 2 species of wild bees in our area that attack the bees in the bee farm. One is the belly back is all black "wasp pack", it builds the honeycomb on the eaves or branches, also known as "holding bees", it catches a bee next to the hive and escapes, after eating and then comes back, so that it harms the bees; the other is the golden yellow "ground wasp pack", which builds the honeycomb in a dead tree hole or soil hole, also known as the wasp, which is large and extremely harmful to the bee colony. Horse bees wait at the nest door of the hive when they harm the bee colony, and when they see the bees, they bite, and the bees are either bitten into 2 pieces by the waist or the limbs cannot fly. At this time, it is easy to kill it, but if there is no one waiting in the bee farm, three or five horse bees can bite a strong swarm of bees a day, and then burrow into the hive to eat bee pupae.

Striking a black wasp doesn't kill it every beat, sometimes only injuring or maiming it.

In the fall of 2003, when I was playing vespa, I was wearing long pants, a wasp climbed from the upper of the shoe to the hem of the pants, when the pants were close to the skin of the calf, it was stung by it, stinging pain, looking down to find that it was a wounded wasp, less than 1 hour, the calf was red and swollen like a small bucket.

September 13, 2015 I put on sandals on my feet, when playing vespa, a pat on the tail of a wasp less than 0.5 cm long in the gap between the thumb and two fingers of the left foot, really a dead bee live arrow (sting needle) was stung, the same stinging pain, the instep of the foot immediately red and swollen like bread, I immediately rubbed the whole instep with the juice of the big su leaf, the pain can be alleviated, but still red and swollen. Healed after 4 days. Lessons learned from these 2 wasps: (1) It is best to wear long pants and deep rubber shoes when fighting vespas, and crush it with its feet after each vespa found to prevent it from "waking up" and stinging. (2) When playing vespa, it is best to open the bow and flap left and right. (3) Do not shake your hands and clap high and low in front of people. (4) Once stung by the wasp, you can immediately rub the affected area with loofah leaf or large su leaf juice, and immediately go to the hospital for treatment, just in case.
