
There are 16 large and small ponds in a "fish farming workshop", and each tank is highly densely farmed with groupers, horsefish and Merry cod, which swim against the water every day, and their bodies are as healthy as athletes. "This is the 'running fish', using an advanced factory circulating aquaculture system to raise fish, which not only saves water, but also achieves zero discharge of aquaculture tailwater." On October 21, in Qinjian Village, Xintangbian Town, Jiangshan City, Jiang Saihua, head of Saihua Family Farm, told reporters that at present, the "fish farming workshop" has stocked a total of 150,000 groupers, 100,000 horsefish, and 5,000 Murray cod.
"Running fish" swim against the water every day, live comfortably, and grow fast. At the scene, Jiang Saihua fished a grouper stocked this year and measured its length and weight. The result is as follows: the fish was 2.5 cm long and weighed 0.4 g when it was placed in the pond, and now after 100 days, it has grown to 10.5 cm and weighs 11 g.
Jiang Saihua is a native of Qinjian Village, Xintangbian Town. Previously, he used greenhouses to raise turtles. With the continuous advancement of "five-water co-governance" in Quzhou, this traditional breeding model must be transformed. Just when Jiang Saihua was worried about how to transform, the aquatic experts in Jiangshan City brought him a new idea: to carry out ecological breeding by introducing a closed factory circulating aquatic aquaculture system.
The core technology of the closed factory circulating aquaculture system needs to be imported from abroad, and the price is more expensive. Despite this, Jiang Saihua decided to give it a try. In 2015, Jiang Saihua demolished two greenhouses and began factory farming of "running fish".
After several years of exploration, Jiang Saihua built a two-story aquaculture workshop covering an area of 800 square meters, 16 circulating water breeding ponds, two sets of circulating water treatment systems and supporting solid-liquid separation, circulating water pipelines, temperature control and other facilities.
"The factory circulating aquaculture system was built, but it took a lot of trouble to achieve the stable operation of the system." Jiang Saihua said that under the guidance of aquatic technology experts from the Zhejiang Freshwater fisheries Research Institute and Zhejiang University, after repeated commissioning operations and technological transformation, he finally overcame the problem of "unsatisfactory water and soil" of foreign advanced technology and embarked on the road of independent innovation and development of industrialized circulating water and fish farming.
In the "fish farming workshop", the reporter saw that the diameter of large pools is 6 meters, the diameter of small pools is 2.5 meters, and each pool is 1.5 meters high and 1.2 meters deep.
Fan Fenglin, head of the fishery management section of the Jiangshan Aquaculture Development Service Center, told reporters that the factory culture of "running fish" takes 45 minutes for a water cycle. The water flow is in accordance with the order of "breeding pond - microfilter - return pool - biological filtration system - oxygenation system - breeding pond" non-stop circulation flow, fish in the pool every day against the water "running", which is a set of high-tech, high quality, high yield as one of the new breeding production mode.
"Smart fish farming", leading the province. The biggest advantage of this model is that it saves water and has significant ecological benefits. A set of factory circulating aquaculture systems circulate 200 cubic meters of water per hour, which can save 1.75 million cubic meters of water a year. The aquaculture water treated by the circulating water system meets the fishery water quality standards, and the biological filtration system needs to be protected during the breeding process, and no fishing drugs such as antibiotics and disinfectants can be used, and the residual bait and excrement can be automatically collected and degraded.
Fan Fenglin introduced that the factory breeding of "running fish", not restricted by regional, climatic and other factors, can achieve perennial production, the entire system of breeding environmental conditions can be controlled, less fish diseases, high yield. The production of conventional fish tilapia per cubic meter is more than 75 kg, and the output of stream fish grouper per cubic meter is more than 25 kg, which has achieved efficient farming, and its related technology has reached the provincial advanced level.
"Now, a large tank can farm 30,000 groupers, and the survival rate of fish is 95%." Jiang Saihua told him that in 2020, the farm sold 7500 kilograms of grouper, selling more than 120 yuan per kilogram. In the first half of this year, 3500 kilograms of grouper have been sold, and the price is more than 130 yuan per kilogram. In the next step, he will build a better "fish farming workshop", using independent innovation technology, which can increase production by 40%, reduce energy consumption by more than 30%, and double the economic benefits.
