More than 100 years ago, when it was believed that the history of mankind would not exceed a few thousand years, people at that time believed that man was created by God. In the mid-19th century, Darwin used the theory of biological evolution to argue that humans originated from ancient apes. Later, Engels put forward the scientific view that "labor creates man himself", thus finally establishing the position of man in nature. The development of modern science has given us a rough grasp of the early genealogy of human beings.
The distant ancestors of humans were primitive primates, and the direct ancestors were rama apes. About 9 million years ago, ape-men, known as "people in formation," appeared. Early ape-men, dating back about 3 million years ago, are known as the "infancy" of humans, who were able to walk upright, make simple tools, and had a protrusion called the "Broca's zone", the language center, inside the skull. These characteristics show that the fundamental distinction between humans and animals has been formed.
It took at least 2 million years for humans to enter their own childhood, the late ape-man. From childhood to adolescence, the pace of human beings has greatly accelerated, about 400,000 to 40,000 years ago, entering the early Stage of Homo sapiens, that is, the ancients. The ancients were able to artificially make fires and began to establish primitive clan communes, indicating that human beings have a high degree of self-consciousness and initiative. Late Homo sapiens (i.e., the newcomers), represented by the cave people on the top of the mountain in China and the Cronu people in Europe, have approached modern people.
Now that mankind is in the youth of a strong body, I believe that mankind will surely create a more brilliant tomorrow.
