In 1989, he performed in Beijing and was praised. The famous playwright Ma Shaobo inscribed a poem for her: "Chen Zi Yan Yun has two factions, borrows three points of gold and jade, Hu Nu Xuemei passes on the Beijing thistle, and urgently manages the complicated strings to cherish the youth."
In 1979, Wang Hongli was admitted to the Luoyang Regional Opera School, where she studied Hua Dan and Boumen Dan. After graduating in 1985, he was assigned to the Second Yu Opera Troupe of Henan Province. Once their team went to Chongqing to perform, Wang Hongli starred in "Spring and Autumn Matching", because the performance was too similar to the Yu opera queen Chen Suzhen, the local media called Wang Hongli "Yu opera little queen" on the title. Since then, the name "Little Queen" has fallen on Wang Hongli's head, when she was 18 years old.
In 1990, the troupe's personnel reform began, and the full employment system began, and she left the stage. At that time, "going to the sea" was popular, and in 1991, a sugar and wine party was held at the city stadium, and Wang Hongli went to sell box lunches when she saw many people. "She said, because she's a singer, her voice is bright, and she can bark." Because she loves to eat, When Wang Hongli traveled to Nanjing, she found that the saltwater duck and roast duck there were very delicious. Wang Hongli, who was thinking of starting a business, opened a roast duck shop under the yu opera troupe with the help of friends in Nanjing, "At that time, I thought that since I started a business, I chose to fight with the eight rods of singing opera." Soon, her roast duck shop opened three branches. The roast duck sold very hot, but after a long time, Wang Hongli was not happy, and she found that her peers were still on the stage, and she also had many dreams that had not yet been realized, such as winning the plum blossom award. "Selling roast duck has enriched her life experience, the circle of singing is very closed, and after close contact with people, she knows the needs of customers, which actually lays a deep foreshadowing for her to run a private theater troupe." In 1993, with the help of her parents, Wang Hongli established the "Henan Little Empress Yu Opera Troupe", which is completely self-financing and self-operating, and has also become a banner for the national private theater troupe to open up the performance market.
She once told reporters: "A troupe, in order to survive in the performance market, must have famous characters and good plays. We broke the cauldron of rice, which greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of the cast and crew to improve their own quality and participate in the performance, so that this new type of art performance group is full of vitality, and private theater troupes must have traditional eating dramas to gain market. If we want to be invincible in the tide of reform, we must also persist in carrying forward the main theme and have excellent fine dramas. Talking about economic benefits is by no means only profit, otherwise the troupe will definitely be eliminated. ”
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Little Empress Yu Opera Troupe carefully rehearsed a high-quality new Yu opera "Red Plum Under the Cutter", using modern lighting and sets, using the narrative methods of turning stage and flashback, and striving to enrich and develop stage art through modern scientific and technological means and new expression techniques. "Familiar stories, familiar characters, but through the Performance of Yu Opera, we have a new touch." At the end of the performance, the compatriots burst into tears and applauded. "Red Plum under the Cutter" has now become one of the representative works of the Little Queen Theatre Company, and it has been praised everywhere.
At the beginning of the establishment of the Little Queen Theatre Troupe, Wang Hongli's father, artistic director Wang Yusheng and well-known theater director Yu Xiaoyu and other theatrical cultural people, carefully created and launched a large-scale qing costume story drama "Wind and Rain Palace", due to the ups and downs of the storyline, coupled with Wang Hongli's superior performance, to the countryside tour for more than 3 months long-lasting, so far "Wind and Rain Palace" performance has exceeded 2,000 times.
