City's Grelich made his 16th appearance in the 73rd minute with his signature dribbling that brought England boss Southgate to a satisfying end, with Southgate resting most of his time.

Ben Zilwell scored first at Andorra's narrow National Stadium, his first goal for England, with Bukayo Saka rewriting the score to 2-0 shortly before half-time.

Roma's Tammy Abraham started for the first time in four years and with a goal to rewrite the score to 3-0, James Ward Prouss saved the penalty in the 79th minute and then pulled it back.

But the best part was saved for the end, with Griglish dribbling the ball around Andorra's weary defence followed by a low shot.

"It's been a long time and it's time for me to score because everybody says that to me," Grilish said. "I'm glad I didn't get to the point." Deep down I've always had the feeling that I just wanted to score, I just wanted to score. I did it tonight and I'm so happy that it was a night I won't forget. ”

In another mismatched match, similar to England's 4-0 win at Wembley last month, Andorra offered tough relays and strong defence but could not compete with Southgate's much-changed team, who won their sixth of seven games in the group.

England now has 19 points, four more than Albania, which won in Hungary, and five more than Poland. Two of the last three wins, home to Hungary and Albania and away to San Marino, will lock up their place in Qatar.

It was a memorable night for England's perimeter players and some of them will be happy with their performances that night. Midfielder Phil Foden plays a bigger role, he is the designer of many of England's best pieces, while Jaden Sancho, who started slowly at Manchester United, has also been impressive.

In the 17th minute, Foden's ball hit Sancho and the United players then placed Chilwell in front of Andorra goalkeeper Gomez. The goal was initially judged offside, but in the wake of everyone's attention, referee Kateryna Monzul overturned the ruling after a VAR check. Monzur was the first female referee to manage senior players in the England national team.

England didn't double their lead until near half-time, when Foden let Saka finish the game with injury. After a chaotic start to the second half, England resumed their rhythm, with Sancho passing from the left and an unnamed Tammy Abraham chimed in. When Chus Rubio let Grealish fall in the box and Ukrainian officials pointed to that position, Monzur had more work to do. Gomez made a great save, but Ward Prouss made no mistakes and the ball bounced off.

Grelich's brilliant performance was the icing on the cake, starting with a long pass from England goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and then a low shot that crossed the crowd and deceived the Andorran defence.
