Manchester City striker Jake Grealish believes the additions of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz have helped Arsenal perform this season, while they also have new experiences that were missing from last season's title race.
The Gunners will head to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to take control of their destiny and sit top of the Premier League table at the weekend. A win would put them four points ahead of Manchester City, while a defeat to Brighton earlier in the day would also clear them three points to Liverpool.
Ahead of the big meeting, Grealish spoke to the Manchester City FC channel about his admiration for Arsenal this season and how they can build on last year's failed title-winning bid.
'Obviously, they've added Declan and Kai Havertz and they're both playing really well now,' said Grealish. ”。 'They are probably more experienced than last season. 'They've had a young squad this season and last season was their first real title game, so this year they'll probably have a little more experience. "I think it's all about us now and if we can win the game then it will put us in a good position. ”
Grealish added: "We have to win. We are now behind them. ”。 'We knew it was going to be a tough game, but I just felt like when the team came to the Etihad I felt like we always made it difficult for them. "I don't think we've lost in Etihad for about 16 months. It's a game we're looking forward to.
