On October 1, local time, Mauritius fully opened its border. Those who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 approved by Mauritius and have a negative nucleic acid test on the day of arrival are free to travel in Mauritius. Unvaccinated persons must book a Maoist government-designated quarantine hotel before arriving in Mauritius and quarantine their hotel room for 14 days.
