Legendary Pictures announced the news on social networks, using the line that Chini said to Paul at the end of the dune film: "It's just getting started." At the same time, Legendary Pictures gave the first concept poster of "Dune 2".
In fact, "Dune" and "Dune 2" should be more accurate to say "Dune (top)" and "Dune (bottom)". Because the first "Dune" was only half of the original film, and the English version of the film was also marked in small print, this is only the "first part". Today's "Dune 2" concept poster is marked with "part two".
Dune is directed by Dennis Villeneuve and starring "Sweet Tea" Timothy Chalame. The film premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in Italy on September 3 this year and was simultaneously released in China and the United States on October 22. At present, the film has been released to the sixth day, and the cumulative box office in the mainland has exceeded 160 million yuan.
