At the Disney Investor Conference the other day:
When Marvel President Kevin Feige introduced Ant-Man 3, he announced that Catherine Newton would play Ant-Man's daughter Cathy Long in the film.
Emma Foreman, who played Ant-Man's daughter in Avengers 4, was quietly replaced (not mentioned).
Why were substitutions made? Marvel hasn't explained it so far.
Catherine Newton, who joined Marvel, first shared her joy at ins:
"I only dreamed last night that I would become a superhero, but I didn't expect to wake up and realize it!"
Emma Fuhrman, who lost the role, also talked about her mood today:
"I just want to say I saw all of your messages, thank you for your support! That means a lot to me.
When I heard the news on Thursday, I was as upset as you were. I can only hope that this means I can participate in other aspects of the future Marvel Universe.
I've always been grateful to be part of the marvelous Marvel Cinematic Universe series. ”
The author believes that this change of actors should be a situation of "contract end and no intention of renewal".
Marvel hadn't set up a project for Ant-Man 3 until last week, and Emma Foreman had only signed for Avengers 4.
