Today, we mainly understand the longevity champion Wan Sulphur Hashi Dingfei, who was born in manchuria and belongs to the Three Banners. However, her family was relatively ordinary, and her father, Tuo Erbi, was only a Zheng wu pin lang, and she did not have a noble status in terms of birth. Princess Ding was born in the first month of the eighteenth year of Shunzhi (1661 – May 24, 1757), also known as Wa Liu Ha Shi, probably transliterated, and nicknamed Lady You. In the fourteenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1675), the fifteen-year-old Concubine Ding was selected by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to enter the palace, and the same group of showgirls who entered the palace with her were the later Empress Xiaogongren Wuya's Concubine De, who was also Yongzheng's mother.
On December 24, 1685, the twenty-fourth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the twenty-five-year-old Concubine Ding gave birth to the twelfth son of the Emperor, Prince Yunyi of Luyi. Who is Prince Yinfu? He was one of the few adult princes in Kangxi's later years who did not participate in the "Nine Sons and Concubines". Yin Qi also had an identity, that is, the adopted son of Su Ma Lagu, the most legendary palace girl of the Qing Dynasty, the maid and sister of Empress Xiaozhuang, and the enlightenment teacher of the Kangxi Emperor. Although she was only a palace girl, her status was outrageous, the Kangxi Emperor called out to niang, and the sons and concubines of Kangxi all called grandma. Su Ma Lama, who had been with Xiaozhuang for decades and was over seventy years old, was afraid that she would be sad and lonely after Empress Xiaozhuang's death, and specially handed over the emperor's twelfth son, Yin, to Su Ma to raise, so that Su Ma could enjoy the happiness of heaven. Under Su Ma's careful upbringing, Yin Qi had been sensible since he was a child, and Su Ma could even teach Kangxi well, not to mention Yin Qi, so Yin Qi was not involved in the vortex of the Nine Sons and Concubines. And very filial piety, after Su Ma died of illness, Yin Qi and Kangxi asked for a will to give Su Ma Phi Ma Dai Filial Piety, Kangxi admired his filial piety very much, and immediately agreed.
Princess Ding attacked from the age of fifteen until the age of twenty-five before giving birth to her son Yin Qi, and it is very likely that when she entered the palace, she was just an ordinary palace girl and did not receive Kangxi Linxing for a long time. Unlike Princess De, who entered the palace with her, Princess De has always been more favored. In the sacrifice text of Empress Xiaoyiren Tong Jia's clan, there is a record of "aiming to enter the xian, the jing is uneven and must be collected", it is likely that Empress Tong Jia recommended Dingfei to Kangxi, and later the mother of the eighth old concubine, Liangfei, may also have been recommended by Empress TongJia, Kangxi may have given The face of Empress Tong Jia to favor them, they are not favored at all, it is very likely that the Ding concubine family is also from Xinzhiku, and it is also the Shangsanqi who is a slave of the emperor for generations, so the birth is not noble.
Because Concubine Ding did not even have a title before the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi, from the fourteenth year of Kangxi entering the palace to the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi forty-three years, it was almost sixty years and did not even have a title, not to mention that the twelve sons of the emperor were thirty-three years old. It was not until April of the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi (1718) that a concubine was made because she had given birth to a prince, which shows that Dingfei is not generally unpopular with Kangxi. Whether you are not favored or not, you don't even have the qualifications to compete for the wind and be jealous, and simply live a peaceful and stable life. Although Concubine Ding was not favored in the Kangxi Dynasty, a good life came after Yongzheng ascended the throne, not only did she live well herself, but her son Yinqi was also reused by Yongzheng because she did not participate in the conquest.
On the second day of the first lunar month of the first year of Yongzheng (1723), Yongzheng's mother, Empress Dowager, remembered that Princess Dingfei entered the palace on the same day as herself, so she asked Yongzheng to help Concubine Dingfei to be crowned, and Yongzheng wanted to have a good relationship with her mother, and immediately agreed, and in June of the following year, she accompanied the concubines of the first dynasty to honor the ceremony, which may be the reason why Empress Xiaogongren and Dingfei had a very good relationship, and the Yongzheng Emperor carried the entire Wanxuha clan from the identity of the wrapper into the Manchurian Zhenghuang Banner in the year of succession. This is a special honor, Dingfei was not favored in the Kangxi Dynasty for decades, and when she arrived at Yongzheng, she was so taken care of, most likely because of the empress dowager, Andi Concubines entered the palace on the same day as Dingfei, they must have been in constant contact, and the relationship has always been relatively close. At that time, the empress dowager did not like Yongzheng, and Yongzheng always wanted to honor his mother, so he responded to her mother's needs.
Because Kangxi had a will before his death, he allowed the elderly concubines to move to their sons' palaces, but once a month they had to enter the palace like the emperor and empress to ask for peace, and Concubine Ding was taken to his palace by his son Prince Yin. Originally, it was stipulated that when the emperor gave birthday gifts to all the concubines, they were to burn incense in front of the Buddha to accept and thank them, but Yongzheng was considerate of the elders, and ordered the concubines to only stand up and support them to accept.
Concubine Ding had a very good life in the Yongzheng Dynasty, Yongzheng did not have a festival with her, and her son Yinqi was not only deeply respected by Yongzheng, but also very filial piety. This is not the end, after the Qianlong Emperor ascended the throne, the life of Concubine Ding was the peak, because Qianlong had great respect for this grandmother. On December 23, the ninth year of Qianlong (1745), Yin Qi's sixtieth birthday, the Qianlong Emperor specially ordered the governor Zhou Shifu to go to the twelve uncles to wish him a birthday, and specially explained that Zhou Shifu would bring a ruyi handle to the given concubine and congratulate the ding concubine.
On March 20, the fifteenth year of Qianlong (1750), this day was the darkest day of her life for Concubine Ding, because her only grandson, Yin Qi's only son, died of illness. Yin Qi was sad, and Dingfei was even more upset than she was, because since she had this grandson, Dingfei had always been the best for her grandson. This sudden nightmare was difficult for the concubine to accept, and when the Qianlong Emperor knew about it, he ordered that all funeral rites should be handled according to the treatment of shizi. In this way, Qianlong was still not at ease, and personally drove to the prince's palace, and advised Dingfei to be kind to her, asking her not to be too sad and hurt her body, and in order to comfort this grandmother, Qianlong Ye deliberately made his own crown prince Yongjun as the heir of Dingfei, which made Dingfei less sad.
On the seventh day of the first month of April in the twenty-second year of Qianlong (1757), Concubine Ding died at the age of ninety-seven in the palace of Prince Lu. Qianlong specifically agreed that Dingfei's coffin could stay longer in prince's palace, and when Qianlong received the news of Dingfei's death, he was touring the south, and only returned to Beijing on April 26, and on April 29, Qianlong personally went to the golden coffin of Dingfei to pay homage. On October 17, The golden coffin of Dingfei was moved to the garden, and on October 25, Dingfei was buried in the Jingling Concubine Garden.
Concubine Ding and her son Yin Qi are both high-lived, one ninety-seven, one seventy-nine, which is very difficult for both mother and son to live a high lifespan. Mainly because their mother and son know etiquette, and are very low-key, Yin Qi personally raised for Su Ma, got a very good upbringing, and Concubine Ding advised him not to participate when the ninth son took the concubine, so Yongzheng was very kind to their mother and son, and also very respectful, coupled with the relationship between the empress dowager, Yongzheng raised their flags as soon as he ascended the throne. In the Qianlong era, Because of her high rank, Dingfei was more respectful of this elder because of her high level of seniority, and she often visited her and gave her many rewards, so that Dingfei could enjoy her old age in peace, and she became the champion of longevity of the qing dynasty concubines.
