Liu Xiu, the Guangwu Emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, originally had an emperor's brother, Liu Xuan

author:The pen is bleeding

Liu Xuan may not be familiar to everyone, but Liu Xiu, the Guangwu Emperor of the Eastern Han Dynasty, believes that everyone will not be unfamiliar.

Similar to Liu Xiu, Liu Xuan also raised an army to restore the Han Dynasty after Wang Mang usurped the government. Since it is the Guangfu Han Room, I have to talk about Liu Xuan's ancestors. After Liu Bei became the King of Zhongshan Jing, he established the Shu Han Dynasty; and Liu Xuan was after Liu Fa, the Ding King of Changsha.

Ancient rebellions always inevitably made the people unhappy, because the ancient people were still very easy to satisfy, as long as they were well fed and warmly dressed, they would not care who was the emperor.

In July of the third year of emperor Di, Liu Xuan went to defect to Chen Mu and others and served as An Jituo under Chen Mu. At that time, Liu Xiu and his brother Liu Xiu were also raising troops in Lingling and marching together with various departments.

The yellow robe plus the body are all due to birth, half by chance and half by personal ability. Because the rebel army did not have a leader, it was screened and selected Liu Xuan, who was from the imperial family. The ancient people were very particular about righteousness and orthodoxy, so Liu Xuan was elected as the leader. When their rebel team won a partial victory and killed Emperor Wang Mang, the leader Liu Xuan began to claim the title of emperor.

Liu Xuan was known as emperor of the Gengshi Because he had previously held the position of general of the rebel army. When Liu Xuan claimed that the emperor went to Chang'an, the country was basically unified.

Later, Liu Xuan was proclaimed empress dowager, faint and incompetent. In ancient times, the founding emperor of which dynasty did not rule carefully after the founding of the country, but was diligent in political affairs and cultivated and lived. However, Liu Xuan did not do so.

He learned Xiang Yu's Hongmen Feast and successfully killed Liu Yan, the brother of one of Liu Xiu's mother's compatriots, more successful than Xiang Yu. But his biggest mistake was to let Liu Xiu go. He also sent Liu Xiu to Hebei instead of putting him under house arrest. Finally, Liu Xiu recruited troops in Hebei and successfully developed.

He learned Zhu Yuanzhang's bird exhaustion bow and killed some of the rebel leaders. However, first, he did not kill clean enough, and second, he did not follow Zhu Yuanzhang's way of handling state affairs.

As an emperor who rose up in the midst of war, he did not think about ruling the country diligently. Instead, he spoiled the concubines, indulged in the harem, and handed over the government to foreign relatives. He does not die, who dies.

Finally, under the attack of the Chimei Army, Liu Xuan's regime died. He surrendered, like Liu Chan, but he was given death like Li Yu, the lord of the Southern Tang Dynasty, and thus ended his magnificent life.

The history books say that Liu Xuan was cowardly and incompetent, and he could become emperor because of his birth and luck. But I don't see it that way. Everyone who can become an emperor in such a chaotic world must have his own unique ability. Otherwise, in such a chaotic world, it is not easy to kill a person.
