Hairy crab is one of the most distinctive advantageous agricultural products in Jiangsu. In 2020, Jiangsu has an area of 3.7 million mu, an output of 359,000 tons, and an output value of more than 30 billion yuan, accounting for half of the province's fishery industry, accounting for 50% of the country's total output. At present, Jiangsu has basically formed a large-scale industrial pattern of Yangcheng Lake, Gucheng Lake, Hongze Lake, Changdang Lake, Luoma Lake and other lakes, as well as the "Ten Lakes, Two Belts and One Area" along the coastal belt of the river and the Lixia River area.
