Wu Zhiming said that in the past five years, Shanghai's implementation of the national strategy has been fruitful, social governance innovation has taken a new road, and the results of keeping the bottom line and making up for shortcomings have been remarkable, especially the municipal government attaches great importance to scientific and democratic decision-making, and includes CPPCC consultation in the decision-making process, which fully reflects the great importance and strong support for socialist consultative democracy and the work of the CPPCC. In the next five years, we must fully implement the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, and do a solid job in all aspects of work in accordance with the requirements of continuing to be the vanguard of national reform and opening up in the new era and the forerunner of innovation and development. Looking back on the 40 years of reform and opening up, Shanghai has boldly tried and boldly broken through, and the vitality of urban development has been significantly enhanced.
