Every year, around the time of frostfall, it is the season of picking camellia oleifera fruits. On October 25, the reporter walked into the oil tea base of Binghe Village in Guandu Town, only to see the red oil tea fruits hanging from the treetops, and the villagers carrying baskets were in groups of three or five, busy picking fruits, and cheerful laughter passed through the forest.

Guandu Town Binghe Village is a key immigrant village in Liuyang City, and the 600-acre oil tea forest in front of it is the village's immigration industry project. In March last year, through field investigation, the Immigration Affairs Center of the Municipal Reservoir District locked its eyes on the 600 acres of oil tea forests in the mountains, and developed industrial projects in the form of immigrants accounting for shares, so that oil tea fruits can become the "well-off fruits" for immigrants to get rich.

Camellia oleifera fruit harvest

The annual output value is expected to reach 500,000 yuan

The breath is condensed and condensed, and the dew is frosted. October 23 is the "frost fall" festival, from this day onwards, Guandu Town Binghe Village oil tea forest ushered in the harvesting period. As far as the eye can see, the camellia oleifera tree grows happily, the dark green leaves are shiny, and the red, yellow and purple camellia oleifera fruits are dotted with branches. Looking at the plump and rounded camellia oleifera fruits, the joy of the immigrants overflowed into words.

"More than 30,000 catties were picked on the first day of mining this year, and only 20,000 catties were picked last year." Referring to this year's output, Wu Yuhui, president of liuyang citizens' harmonic breeding professional cooperative, was clear in his chest, "Mining 3 days is close to 100,000 catties, now picked a third, it is expected that this year's output is 260,000 to 300,000 catties, the output value can reach 500,000 yuan." Originally, we set a target of 150,000 pounds, but now we are much more than expected. ”

In March last year, Wu Yuhui was identified by the Municipal Reservoir District Immigration Affairs Center as the leader of the immigration industry project, and established a cooperative, 308 immigrants in the village are shareholders, according to the village collective accounted for 22% of the shares, immigrant households accounted for 78% of the shares for dividends, and jointly develop the oil tea industry.

"Not only can I pay dividends, but I also have labor costs here." I am mainly responsible for fertilizer transportation, warehouse management, picking and other work, with a daily salary of 130 yuan and an income of more than 20,000 yuan a year. Ji Chaofeng, an immigrant who is picking camellia oleifera fruits, said happily: "When the farmers are busy, I do my own thing, ploughing the fields, sowing seedlings, and harvesting rice; when the farmers are idle, they just happen to do things in the camellia oleifera forest, and it is expected that the annual income will exceed 100,000 yuan this year." ”

Watching the oil tea industry getting better and better, Wu Yuhui has a new development plan. "This year, we have transferred more than 100 acres of land to expand the planting area of camellia oleifera forests, and the nursery base is also being cultivated." Wu Yuhui told reporters that next, he will actively dock with enterprise units, promote the deep processing and development of oil tea, extend the industrial chain, improve the added value of products, and further broaden sales channels.

Track the immigration industry throughout the process

Be a "service steward" for immigrants

Behind the "oil tea fruit" becoming "rich fruit", this harvest is inseparable from the help and guidance of the Immigration Affairs Center in the Municipal Reservoir District. From the start of the project, industrial development to industrial harvest, the Immigration Affairs Center of the Municipal Reservoir District has set the checkpoints and done a good job as a "service steward" for immigrants.

Last year, the 600 acres of camellia oleifera forest circulating in Binghe Village, due to the lack of care for a long time, the camellia oleifera plants were thin, the leaves were yellow, the growth was not good, the woodland was overgrown with weeds, and the output in the second half of the year was only 20,000 catties.

If you find a problem, you must prescribe the right medicine. In order to increase the production of camellia oleifera forest, the Immigration Affairs Center of the Municipal Reservoir District immediately contacted the Municipal Forestry Bureau, invited professional and technical personnel to provide door-to-door service, moved the classroom to the Camellia oleifera forest, and taught the cultivation technology of Camellia oleifera face-to-face. At the same time, forestry training is also carried out regularly to provide comprehensive guidance to cooperatives.

"I used to think that the camellia oleifera tree didn't need to be taken care of, and it could grow by drinking dew, but I didn't expect that there were so many doorways inside." Wu Yuhui said that the problems pointed out by experts are very accurate, and the suggestions made are very pertinent. Nowadays, through measures such as forest land care, weeding, pruning, disease prevention, fruit preservation, fertilization, etc., the camellia oleifera forest has undergone great changes, the saplings have grown happily, the fruits are full, and the oil production rate has also increased a lot.

The oil tea industry in Binghe Village, Guandu Town, is one of the immigration projects of the Immigration Affairs Center in the Municipal Reservoir District. In recent years, in order to allow the masses to "take root" after emigrating, the Immigration Affairs Center of the Municipal Reservoir District has fully combined the resource endowments of various towns and villages to develop the immigration industry, and has successively explored four industrial models of supporting large households to replace compensation with awards, guaranteeing capital and dividends, investing in fixed assets, and occupying shares by immigrants, so that the immigrant households in the city can move out, be stable, and become rich.

"This year, the city has filed a total of 108 late-stage support projects for immigrants, with a total investment of about 17.55 million yuan in post-migration support funds." The relevant person in charge of the Immigration Affairs Center of the Municipal Reservoir District said that next, it will actively implement the spirit of the 13th Party Congress and the "Two Sessions" of Liuyang City, continue to follow up the progress of the project, effectively promote rural revitalization, and strive to let immigrants have more sense of gain, happiness and security in co-construction and sharing.
