Filming of the 1905 film Trautmann, directed by Marcus H Rosenmueller and starring David Klaus, officially began filming in Northern Ireland. The film is based on the growth experience of the football hero Troutmann, telling the legendary story of how he transformed from a captured paratrooper to a football player.

As an Anglo-German co-production project, the film can be said to have found a two-country subject. Although Trautmann is from Germany, he has achieved his football dream in England. During World War II, Trautmann went on a mission to Belgium and was captured by the British. In a prisoner-of-war camp near Manchester, Trautmann accidentally picked up the football and later joined a local team. At that time, many Manchester City fans wrote letters to the press to protest his playing in the United Kingdom, but between 1955 and 1956, he won the Football Journalists Association Player of the Year with his own efforts. During a match, his neck was hit by the opponent and unconscious, but his hands still clutched the football, a moment that made the fans at the time completely remember him and accept him completely.

It is reported that this film is also the first English-language film directed by German director Marcus H Rosenmueller, and his two most recent works are the German film "The Believer Is Blessed" and "Alexander's Invention". Compared with the director, the lead actor David Klaus is more well-known abroad, he once won the Best New Actor at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival Chopard Award for his role in "The Reader", and then joined films such as "War Horse" and "White Winter", and the potential cannot be underestimated.
