Over the past decade, protections have been initiated in China for nearly 100 species of flora and fauna with very small populations. Chinese scientists have interpreted the concept of "jointly building a community of human and natural life" with practical actions.

In fact, this beauty deserves to be cherished, because many of them belong to a special group - "very small population". How small is it? Like Panzhihua cycads, there are only about 2,000 extant plants in the wild. The red parasitic flowers, which have only been found in the wild at present, are extremely rare. Fortunately, scientists have already started to protect them, preserving this fragile beauty for us.

Some wild plants with very small populations have also made their homes in the Southwest China Wildlife Germplasm Resource Bank, the largest wildlife germplasm resource bank in Asia, so that the seeds have been properly preserved for a long time.
