South Korean entertainer Choi Min-so's retaliatory driving case went to court today at the Southern District Court in Seoul, where prosecutors applied to the court to sentence Choi Min-so to one year in prison on suspicion of special coercion, special financial sabotage, and insults.
Choi Min-so suddenly braked to stop the other party and got into an argument with the other party after driving past the front car in Seoul on September 17 last year, although Choi Min-so claimed that the other party first rubbed his car and then escaped, but the prosecution said that the on-site surveillance video could see that the other vehicle did not violate traffic laws, but instead Choi Min-so threatened to insult the other party after forcing the other party to stop the other party and was suspected of multiple crimes. Prosecutors said that in view of Choi Min-so's lack of introspection after the incident, the prosecution decided to apply to the court to sentence Choi Min-so to one year in prison.
Cui Minxiu was interviewed before attending the trial today and expressed the hope that today's trial will completely end the dispute between the two sides. Choi Min-so also said that such traffic disputes occur many times a day in South Korea, and he has to be treated specially just because he is an actor, which makes him feel very unfair.
