Zoo staff noticed that the lions were coughing, sneezing, runny nose and drowsiness. The park then conducted a nucleic acid test on the lion and the results showed positive. The garden issued a statement on Twitter on the 25th, confirming that 11 lions were infected with the Delta strain, and their ages were between 1 and 9 years old.

Denver Zoo veterinarians said the lions developed mild symptoms and the park is closely monitoring their condition.
