On August 13, 1711, in the 50th year of the Kangxi Dynasty (1711), in the palace of Prince Yong in Beijing, the concubine of Yin Chan the Prince of Yong, Niu Hulu, gave birth to a big fat boy named Yuan Shou, who later became the famous Qianlong Emperor. At the end of the same year (the third day of the first month of December), inside the Forbidden City, a concubine gave birth to a prince to Kangxi and named him Yinhu. Today we are going to talk about the concubine who gave birth to Yin Hu: a concubine.

<h1 class="pgc-h-arrow-right" data-track="2" > Manchurian woman of unknown origin</h1>
As for the origin of concubine, what we know is that her surname is Sehetu, born in June of the 21st year of the Kangxi Dynasty, and her father is Yuanwailang Dolji.
Judging from the surname of the concubine, it should be a Manchurian woman, whose father, Dolji, was a member of the outer lang, and during the Qing Dynasty, the member was the third class of the officials of the three divisions of the various ministries, the Li Fan Yuan, the Taibu Temple, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and was below the Lang Zhong, above the chief, and belonged to the Wupin officials, roughly equivalent to the current deputy director.
However, judging from the fact that Concubine Jin never received an official canonization in the Kangxi Dynasty, it is very likely that she was not from the Eight Banners of the Eight Classics of Zheng'er, but more like a Manchurian from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Moreover, judging from the surname of the concubine and the appointment of her father Dolji, she was by no means from a large family, and she did not have a maternal background, so she naturally did not receive the attention of the emperor.
Born in the twenty-first year of Kangxi, Jin Concubine was 28 years younger than Kangxi and was a pair of old husbands and young wives. However, in the ancient emperor's harem, no matter how old the emperor is, he will also find young women, which is not unusual, after all, the reproduction of the imperial heir is the first priority!
There is no record in the historical records of the time when Concubine Jin entered the palace, and it is speculated that after thirty-four years of Kangxi, her way into the palace should be through the selection of palace women in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and her original identity was a palace girl.

Some readers may wonder how the emperor took the palace maid as a concubine, is it that the emperor walked in the imperial garden or came to the Xinzhiku, saw a certain palace girl look beautiful, and then was lucky? If you think so, you are wrong.
We can take the Kangxi Dynasty as an example, in the Kangxi Dynasty, there were no palace women waiting at the emperor's side, but some eunuchs. Moreover, without permission, palace women are not allowed to move in areas other than the place of work or life, and they must go out with each other, so it is difficult for them to see Tianyan. So how were these palace ladies favored by the emperor?
At this time, there needs to be a referrer, equivalent to a matchmaker, and this person will generally be the queen.
For example, when the empress sees that a certain palace girl's appearance, virtue, female worker, etc. are good, she will introduce her to the emperor, and the emperor will generally accept it, after all, if she does not accept it, it will seem a bit pretentious.
According to records, in the forty-sixth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, there were 26 people in the Qianqing Palace, and in addition, there were 10 people who did not have the title of Great Promise, and the concubine Se hetu clan should be among these ten great promises.
At that time, the concubine was in her twenties, which was the most beautiful period for women, so it was natural to be favored more by the emperor. Fifty years after Kangxi, the thirty-year-old concubine Finally conceived a dragon fetus, and at the end of the year gave birth to a little brother, who was the thirty-second prince of Kangxi, and the twenty-second son of the emperor was named Yinhu.
However, although Concubine Jin gave birth to a princess, due to her low birth, Kangxi did not show any indication, and she was still only a concubine.

After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he honored some of Kangxi's concubines who were born with princes, and the concubines were among the recipients, and Yongzheng honored them as emperors and nobles.
Regarding Concubine Jin's son Yin Hu, who belonged to Kangxi's younger crown prince, only older than Yin Qi and Yin Mi, it is said that Yin Hu followed his father Kangxi on a tour from the age of 10, and patrolled for two consecutive years, until the third year Kangxi died, and Yin Hu was only 12 years old at this time.
After Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he also took more care of his younger brother Yin Hu, who was not a threat to himself, on the other hand, Yin Hu was also more decent, there was no mistake, Yongzheng eight years, Yin Hu was named Beizi, three years later, the 22-year-old Yin Hu was ordered to handle the affairs of The Yellow Banner Manchuria with his brother Yin Lu, the Prince of Zhuang, and then Yin Hu was promoted to dorobelle.
After Qianlong succeeded to the throne, Yin Hu also became the uncle of the emperor of the dynasty, and was able to perform worship at the Qianqing Palace, and Qianlong also ordered Yin Hu's mother Sehetu to be honored as the emperor's concubine.
However, at this time, the concubine's health was already relatively poor, and after only four years, the concubine died. It is said that before her death, concubine Jin was transferred to the Wulongting Pavilion, north of the Tailiu Pond, and then died in the museum at the age of 58.
Beginning in the fifth year of Qianlong, Yin Hu was ordered by Qianlong to manage the affairs of the Three Tombs (Shunzhi, Kangxi, and Yongzheng), and during his tenure, it can be said that he worked diligently, handling cases of corruption and theft in the Three Tombs, and died in office in the ninth year of Qianlong, at the age of 33.
Qianlong was very sad about Yin Hu's death, so he specially sent the emperor's eldest son Yong Huang to pay tribute, in addition to sending prince Yun Qi, Prince Zhuang Yunlu, Prince Yun Lu the Prince of Zhen, and Sent Yun Xi, Hong Fang, Hong Fang, Hong Huang, and Yong Xi to wear filial piety, which can be said to be enough to give this uncle face.
On February 14 of the same year, the Qianlong Emperor personally sacrificed the late Belle Yunhu twice, and erected a monument to him, posthumously honoring him as "Gongqin", which was for Doro Gongqin Belle. On the first day of May, the eldest son of Ming Yunhu , Hongfu ( 弘昽 ) , was demoted to inherit the viscountship of Gushanbei.

Although it is said that Concubine Jin is a very inconspicuous one in the Kangxi harem, and even her origin is not clear, she is fortunate to give birth to a prince for Kangxi, and the crown prince Yinhu is also taken care of by the two generations of emperors of Yongzheng and Qianlong, and the mother and son can be said to have a good ending, which is a relatively good ending in the Kangxi harem.
